This link is called a Time of Treason. To me, Treason is a pretty strong word. However, it is definitely a questionable operation, to put it mildly.
We'll see if Treason sticks. Treason is very hard to prove.
By the way, this Timeline knocks at least one of my speculations out. McCain's involvement did not lead to the FISA approval. It came too late in the process, as it was already approved by the time McCain got involved.
