A quick thought

The Ivermectin story is looking more and more familiar in its own way. I suppose there would be those who would disagree, in more ways than one. But one thing that both share is a great promise that was not realized.

Ivermectin is not an experimental drug. It has a significant history of safe usage. There is no safety issue with it. Billions of doses have been given. There are no side-effects that I've heard about. Perhaps there really aren't any at all.

Yet is proven effective in many ways, and some are calling it a miracle drug.

The comparison above is between Ivermectin and molten-salt reactor technology. Both share one thing-- they have been proven safe in significant ways. Yet neither have received that recognition. The risk factors of each have been blown completely out of proportion- even to the point of being misrepresented.

It is quite ironic that people are willing to trust an EXPERIMENTAL drug against COVID, but wouldn't consider this drug because they are unfamiliar with it. The only reason that anyone wouldn't be familiar with it is the lack of information provided about it, despite the fact that enormous experience exists with it.

There is nothing to lose by trying it. No side effects reported. The effectiveness might be debated, but the safety factor is not debatable.
