This is one of the most sympathetic posts that I've think I've ever written about anyone. However, I don't believe Barnhardt is any "Paula" Revere. This is absurd. She knocks the American Founding. She's no patriot. I definitely recall that she wrote that the American system has sunk to the bottom like the Titanic. Well, to me that is a bit premature.

She seems to be about one thing, the Catholic Church. I don't find any fault with that, although I'm no Catholic. Nor Jewish. Nor any organized religious denomination.

I DO believe that Jesus is Lord. I think the Lord is badly served.

This blog isn't about religion. I believe the Lord helps those who help themselves. That's a concept that seems alien to all too many people these days. There's way too many who'd rather listen to people who want to destroy us, as opposed to listening to people who want to help. Knowing who is true and who is false is an important thing to know. My "pearl of great price" is the truth. Take that as you will.

Some of this is very chilling.  She fills in some blanks that I didn't know about.

For instance, she says she wasn't audited until she did her Koran burning video.  In other words, it was a politically motivated audit that occurred before she declared a tax strike.

Another chilling disclosure is that her books were clean, yet they still kept coming after her.  She does say that they came after her after she declared a tax strike.  Even so, what's chilling about it is where is the basis for the IRS to continue to come after her if she has been financially ruined already?  Is it not also politically motivated?  How much money can she owe the IRS if she's already been ruined by their previous audit that found no tax liabilities were due?

She presents herself in such a way, if you find her credible enough, as a modern "Paula" Revere, who is warning us about the advancing oppression of a regime that will crush all opposition and all dissent.  She is, again if you find her credible enough, as someone that the Rush Limbaughs out there pretend to be.  She's taking it on the chin for you so that you can be forewarned, and can do all that you can to defend yourself against what's coming soon for YOU.

Personally, I think her tax strike was a mistake.  Otherwise, she is quite credible to me.  Even a tragic figure.

Think the Rush Limbaughs out there will take her story and push it to the front row and center?  Not a chance.  Rush pretends to be Paul Revere, but Paul Revere risked his neck for the cause of freedom.  Rush won't risk his show, nor his millions for the sake of Ann Barnhardt, who is really doing the job that he pretends to do.

Instead of firming up the election integrity, the GOP punts because some of them do not like Trump. But what's that in comparison to the future of the country?

The "King Maker" certainly made Biden president. Then they stole the 2020 election, while making opposition to them almost an illegal act. We came about as close to a coup as we'll get right there. And I'm not talking about January 6th. The entire election was a fraud, and the the GOP was not willing to do a damned thing about it.

Some of them were removed, but that's not nearly good enough. Whether or not the GOP can get by this election is truly in doubt, even though the Democrats have gone all in on communism.

That's what VDH is talking about. Where is the voting public on this? According to Rasmussen, Trump's approval is at 42%. Now, either this is a lie, or America is in a terrible state right now.

We have a totalitarian leaning press that refusing to print the news accurately, or otherwise more of the public would be alarmed---and they SURE AS HELL SHOULD BE.

With what the Democrats Commies are doing right now amounts to a coup detat of the lawful authority of the government. The GOP's reaction is virtually to do nothing.

Meanwhile, the Trump Administration is running a brilliant second term, with a smashing victory in Iran and Venezuela, Crime way, way down, manufacturing returning to American shores,illegal immigration stopped plus mass deportations; but somehow this President is UNPOPULAR??? What the f**k?!

Unless there's a popular revolt against the wokism on the way, we could be in trouble here. What to do in order to get people interested enough to save their country? It's only your country, people. Lose this, and everything, and I DO mean, EVERYTHING comes into play. But I repeat myself.

If there's anything that I've posted here that I regret, it is likely this post. The idea of running for office is something I never should've mentioned.

So why did I do it? It was the exasperation in this post. Why can't the GOP field some decent candidates who will actually DO something???

I'm glad that Cornyn is gone. They aren't being removed fast enough, in my opinion.

I'll do my part here. Running for office is defintely not the ticket. Call that my General Sherman statement. Even if people wanted me to, I wouldn't. It's for the same reason why I would never be a cop. Why?

I'd be a Dirty Harry type cop, that's why. Dirty Harry types get creamed in this culture now. But that's why you do it, some will say. Yeah, but not me. I'm a keyboard warrior, and that's it.

Another moldy-oldy to respond to... Well, sure seemed like a low-point back in 2014 as far as the good 'ol USA was concerned.

Trump came along and there was some hope. He's still around, and the left is more insane than ever. Well, look at it this way. If the left ain't going nutso, we must be doing something wrong...

At the moment, I can't get really excited about anything.  If I am not excited, I am not motivated.  If I am not motivated, I probably won't write anything.

Update:  That last sentence reminded me of the Austin Power's movie.  But people won't die if I don't write.  Or maybe they won't.  Bwah hah hah!


Take the Climate March for instance.  It is hard for me to believe that this is a serious thing.  People there do not practice what they are preaching.  If they were, they'd give up all their possessions and move out to a homestead in the country.  Will Al Gore and the rest of these celebrities give up their rich lifestyles?  Doubtful.

That they are serious about something, there's little doubt.  These people want something.  But to do anything about "climate change", no they aren't serious.  This isn't about the climate, I suspect.

"War on Women"?  Not serious, folks.  Why would any society make a war on its women?  To commit suicide, perhaps?  If there's a real war on women, it is from the people claiming to be against the war on women.  For to wage a war on women is to kill off a society, and that is what these people are doing in the name of protecting women.  The reality is that they are destroying the futures of young women.

As for the GOP, who can they not succeed in running against insanity like this?  It should be as easy as taking candy from a baby, but these guys are flummoxed.  Well, they are supposedly flummoxed.

Limbaugh tried to explain why the GOP can't do anything.  It struck me as excuse making.

Incidently, there's supposedly some plot to destroy Limbaugh.  If only.  Limbaugh isn't a big help these days.  Conservatism can probably live without him.  He is a non-entity as far as I can tell.  He's the best thing the libs have going for them.

Conservatives had better find themselves some real leadership.

Dick Morris talked about how Obama wants to change America.  Well, duh.  That's so obvious.  What isn't obvious is why isn't anything being done about it?  A horrible thought then occurred to me.  Morris is just another mercenary making money off the misery of the land.  There's nothing serious about the man just as there is nothing serious about the people in this land.  Conservatism?  What conservatism!  Nothing is being done and nothing will be done because nobody intends to do anything at all.

All this and the Climate March marches on.  The left is winning by default.  Hard to get excited about a bunch of people who stand by and do nothing while their country is being stolen from them.

My question is this: How much do you want victory? It seems to me that the answer is "Not very much". We can't even get simple things done when we have power. We allow them to stop us, and then we have others that are supposedly with us, who turn around and betray us. It is why nothing gets done.

If it happens the way he envisions, it won't be much of a rebellion. He imagines a love for the conservative way that is hard for me to see how that is so. If the love for the conservative was all that strong, then how did we get to this point in the first place? It does appear to be trending our way in some areas, but it needs to come together fast. Not happening nearly fast enough in my opinion.

This comment adds my own thoughts to what is being said in the article. The main idea is that the solid blue state may well be a myth. Frankly, I think it is more than myth. It is a syndrome of criminality. There is more than just outright fraud. It could well involve violence or threats of violence. Gaslighting figures in the mix as well.

One other example: Bongino referred to how "jungle primaries" can result in the elimination of Republicans from the ballot. That and other fradulent means of "voter suppression" are the only reasons the Democrats have any power at all. Voter suppression is what Dems routinely accuse Republicans of doing. Ten to one that this is just another case of projection. I'll call it political projection, because this is not psychological. It is intentional lying and fraud.

Ultimately, you need to get people to get their backs up against this kind of thing. It's this or there will be subjugation.

Quick update:

I've got a really bad feeling about election integrity. It may be very, very difficult to get rid of it. I have a very definite reason to suspect ALL politicians for this. It has to be extremely tempting for a politician or group of politicians to rig elections. There may be only limited ways in which an election can have integrity. One way is with paper ballots counted in public. The votes must be cast in private. The use of purple dye should be required in order to prevent double voting. Anything short of this should be considered suspect.

If the Democrats are crazy, and people are in denial about that, then does that make a lot of people crazy? It's got to be some type of dysfunction of a massive scale. If Kamala Harris somehow ends up in the White House, this may be a big reason why.

It is a scary thing to consider that there may not be enough sane people around to do what is clearly indicated. This group of people need to go, but will that happen?

There's really no way to sustain a war like the one in the nineteenth century. The only way to break up the union would be by mutual consent.

How do you sustain armies when it would be so easy to starve people out? You cannot forage on the countryside like in the old days. There's nowhere to go if order breaks down. It wouldn't last long at all. As this article seems to point to, the most likely consent would come from a Democrat administration with a breakup demand from red states. The RINO wing might let the Dems separate. Not sure about the MAGA wind. It should be a firm "NO". Democrats cannot win without fraud and violence. Nobody in the right mind would voluntarily choose the kind of rot-gut leftism running so rampant in the Democrat party now.

Saw something on Maha's blog that hinted the same theme.   Now these guys on the left really don't know their vulnerability.  Their problem is bigger than the South.

Here's their proposition:  they want to split, but their populations are on isolated islands in the big cities.  With their world view on such issues as war and piece plus energy, how the heck are they going to run these energy intensive areas?  You can't put windmills and solar panels in New York City.  War and Peace?  Where do these social justice warriors going to come from when they kicked out the people who are likely to man the battalions?  How are they going to reproduce when their access to  the red states is cut off?  They need people, how are they going to get them if they are aborting them or having same sex relationships?

They need all these things, but somehow they think they can do without them.  A breakup of the Union would be sheer folly for them.

What would stop the red counties from seceding from their blue states?  Does the secession only work one way?  How do they stop it if they don't believe in force?

It doesn't work.  Sheer lunacy.

Remember George Will?  He is now firmly in the camp of the Never Trumpers.  Not only that, he has lost his love for veep Mike Pence, who doesn't seem to be getting their message.

There are those who have said that the GOP would rather lose elections, as opposed to having their gigs threatened.

Most of the gigs, if not all of them, are of the variety of professional complaining.  I now hereby dub this phenomenon as the Whine Industrial Complex.  The Never Trumpers fit into this category.  They have raised it up to a fine art.

What makes a whiner?  A person who doesn't actually do anything can be a whiner.  You see, a whiner feels powerless, but perfect.  They love to consider themselves above it all, and they just can't let their own hands to get dirty, or they won't be clean anymore.

As for yours truly, I have distanced myself from the Whine Industrial Complex by taking  the money out of the Whine.  No money will be accepted here, but I will bitch endlessly about everything, which seems fine with me.  If it ever gets more serious around this lame ass society of ours, I will be ready, willing, and able to pitch in what I can.  That includes opening up enough cans of Whoop-Ass to do the job that is desperately needed.

If it also means that I will get "my hands dirty" by supporting the likes of Donald Trump, then let it be so.  I prefer some action, even if it means that I might get a little dirty and mussed up before it is all over.

The Whiners will never do anything about the cultural rot around us, except complain.  They will ratify the left in the high-jacking of America, and toppling it in the way the 9/11 terrorists did.

I've also said "think for yourselves". Conservatives like to say "rugged individualism", while at the same time, not exhibiting much of that quality themselves.

Otherwise, why all the dependency upon someone else to do your thinking for you?

A lot of people out there in the Establishment want immigration reform.  Was this move, with respect to Syria, a diversion from that issue so that they can sneak this bill through?

If, why is the tea party still allied with the GOP?

Where does this defeatism come from?

  This idea of staying home so that your enemies can win, is exactly what I'm talking about.  No pun intended, but that attitude is like shooting yourself in the foot.  Why?  Who won the friggin' election in Texas?  Do you really think that electing a gun-grabber will protect your rights better than even an errant Republican?  I understand the frustration, but not the response.  The response is self-defeating.  Primary the suckers!  Get your own kind of people to run and win!

There are those who won't remember, but back before the 2006 elections that resulted in Nancy Pelosi being hoisted to the Speaker's Chair, one Glenn Reynolds said that the GOP should LOSE in order to "teach them (the GOP) a lesson".  Well????  How did that one turn out?  Not so good.

  What was true in 2006 is even more true now.  Nancy Pelosi will seem like a moderate compared to these wackadoodles coming up.  Staying home so that they can assume power is one strategy that should be avoided; that is, if recent experience is any guide.  But some folks never seem to learn.

If you don't know the constitution, then you cannot call yourself a conservative.  Judging by a lot of what gets said out there in terms of speaking up for conservatism, I'd say the country is full of ignoramuses.  Pardon me englich, but is that ignorami?  Whatever!

I have said it a hundred times.  It is not liberal to tax corporations.  Unless you think the US Constitution was written by a bunch of bleeding heart libs...

The original constitution said that there was not to be a "capitation tax, or direct tax".  The sixteenth amendment did away with that.  Do away with the sixteenth amendment.  Get rid of the capitation tax.  That would be conservative.

But if you cannot tax individuals, then who do you tax?  Ahem, ahem, ahem.

The whole point of import taxes and taxes on corporations deals with the priorities of maintaining individual freedom.  Yet, even "conservatives" don't get this.

That's why there really aren't very many conservatives in this country anymore.  Many of them, or probably all of them, don't know what the hell it is.  If the original constitution ain't conservative, there ain't no such thing.  And that is where we are today.
