Dark days

New Year's Eve

In this neck of the woods, the year is going out with a lot of rain. Not a flooding rain, but enough to fill my washtub I use for rain catchment. That's about 15 gallons of the wet stuff. It takes a good soaking rain to do that, and it is still raining.

This was the weirdest year yet, I do believe. The New Year may get even weirder. ( Is there such a word?)

There may be people out there who consider this blog to be low-class. Maybe not a pro- fessional quality. There was a time when I wanted it to be, but that time has passed. The blog is what it is. It is free. I've spent tremendous amout of time on the thing. Also some money here and there. I decided long ago not to spend a lot of money on it.

But at this point, maybe I don't think it is even worth the time. So there.

This allows me to segue into something I heard on Bongino's show today. There is a thing called "substack", in which authors like myself could use to make money with their writing. A thought occurred to me to look closely into it. I did look, but not too closely. It may be worth considering some day, but right now, I'll keep to the present course.

Besides, I don't have a big audience, so why should I have a big audience on that thing? Or any audience at all?

That may seem defeatist. If so, then so be it. I spent considerable effort to make this blog a success, and it isn't.

I write for the ideas, not the money. Enough for that little sidebar.

Bongino thinks it is crazy to sit out the Georgia run-off. Since I am not in Georgia, it doesn't matter to me anyway. If it was in Texas, would I feel the same way? It is easy to talk about things that you would do when you are not in that situation.

We need some way to discipline wayward people in government. The prospect of a humiliating defeat may concentrate some minds. Maybe they don't care anymore about holding office, but if they do, something like this may get their attention.

It may be crazy in the sense that it is like cutting off your nose to spite your face. But if they won't support us anyway, then WHY BOTHER? As Hillary once said, "what difference does it make?" For me, the GOP has to get their minds right, or they are "heestwah" to me.

I like Bongino, though. I don't want to be too critical, but I don't agree with him on this one. You got to stop feeding people who come back and bite you on the ass.

One last thing about Bongino's show today. He talked about "rods from God". This is supposedly a new type of weapon the Air Force has developed. But it really isn't new. I heard about this one when Bush was POTUS. Not really new, folks.

So that should be all for 2020. Another one like this one and who knows where we will all be this time in 2021. A really dark cloud has descended upon us, after all.

Whigging out

During the daily reading of the "news", I see that Cocaine Mitch and Nancy Schmancy are working on a deal to stop any challenge to the electoral college on Jan. 6th.

Once again, I have to ask the question, "if the thing is in the bag, why do they have to do this?"

Another question is why are they so intent upon keeping this under wraps? Ostenssibly they don't want to be seen voting against their own party. But if that is the case, the deal itself can be seen as hiding something. If they are hiding something, it must be awfully bad, don't you think? You know, like stealing elections?

Maybe Cocaine Mitch isn't having success in getting the GOP to go along with his plans. This reminds me of something I read in a book once---"Once you get past the phony tinsel, you get the REAL tinsel".

If the GOP continues along this line, they need to go the way of the Whigs.

Cover up is against Federal Election Law

My take on the Powell interview is that transparency is actual Federal Law. If Fed law was violated, then how can the SCOTUS refuse this case? It is clear that the media and their partners in crime, the Democrats and RINOS, are trying to hide the truth. That's not transparency.

Cracking the Source Code
Update: minor correction in text below.  Makes a difference.

A write-up about the National Security Threat posed by insecure voting tablulating machines. Those who do not wish anyone to see this are acting guilty of a cover-up.

Those who are innocent shouldn't act that way. That alone is a big red flag. You should not be censoring people who are asking legitimate questions.

The link doesn't say anything about foreign connections, but there were some claims of that elsewhere. If that can be proven, look out. This looks pretty damning in any case.

Dumb-da-Dumb-Dumb

The Stupid Party is outdoing even itself

Let me relate something here that I haven't done so far. With respect to the election, I seriously considered NOT VOTING. Why? That should be obvious now. The vote wasn't designed to be honest, so it should not be a surprise that it WASN'T. So why vote then? It only adds legitimacy to something that isn't. I was hoping for the best, but we got the worse instead.

So the GOP latches on the scam as they always do and claims "will of the people" when it is no such thing. They are really good at backing the wrong horse. Dumb. The right course is WE THE PEOPLE. Why do they not see this? They must be stupid or corrupt, or both.

This is one reason why the GOP really deserves the derision attached to being called the Stupid Party. They just keep putting themselves in positions that they cannot defend, and lo and behold, they won't defend their own positions. How friggin' stupid can you get? Give the GOP time and they can find new ways to be even more stupid than ever before.

With respect to the recent "COVID Relief" bill, which once again, is no such thing--the GOP is outdoing itself yet again. They have basically given the Democrats every thing they could possibly want, while at the same cementing their reputation as being against the people! Nice going you numbskulls.

The President thinks he needs these people to succeed. But that is a critical mistake. The greatest feat of all would be if the GOP's stupidity rubs off on The Donald. If he allows that, he will be even dumber than they are, which takes some doing.

Nobody wants to be the guy in the black hat. But you cannot please everyone. The price for taking a stand is being the guy in the black hat to some people. But you shouldn't want their approval if they ARE WRONG.

I get the impression that everybody in DC plays the game in order to be the guy in the white hat even when they aren't. You cannot be wrong and be the guy in the white hat.

So being in the white hat means having no blame attached to you for anything. It doesn't mean you are right, it only means ESCAPING RESPONSIBILITY. That's the game in DC. Everyone is hellbent on being IRRESPONSIBLE. Nobody wants to step up to the plate and do the right thing. This is how I define being the guy in the black hat. Doing the right thing means taking responsibility and doing what's right---not looking for ways to blame the other guy.

The GOP likes to "take responsibility" while at the same time making it impossible to defend their own claimed position. You do this by unfailingly finding things that you cannot defend and insisting upon defending them until you cannot, then you won't.

Now that really is stupid. You find your friggin' hill to die on and defend it with all you got. If you cannot win then you cannot win. But these guys end up defending nothing at all. They get into their own indefensible positions and declare defeat EVERY DAMNED time.

It is pointless to keep supporting them. They don't want to win. It isn't in them.

Fake post

Fake du jour

Well these days are quite interesting. As of this writing, I haven't read the fake news yet so I still don't know what didn't happen.

One thing to do about all this fakery is if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So I decided to do a fake post. You see, this post isn't really here. You really aren't reading it. I know that may come as a big surprise, but it is really, really, really true. / wink

Since we really weren't happy about the results of this election, I have decided to be really, really, really happy about that. Not unhappy. We cannot have that. We cannot have real things anymore. Real things can be awfully inconvenient sometimes. A real protest, for example, may make some folks mad. We can't have any of that, now.

Same thing with a civil war. In a real civil war, somebody might get hurt. Well, that's just too gauche for us enlightened types. Besides, I can't stand pain. It hurts me.

In order to do that we can stage a fake protest followed by a fake civil war. In that case, nobody gets hurt, and we can show them a thing or two. What's there to dislike? Nobody should have a problem with that.

Earlier I said that I would resist the mask wearing. For now on, I will wear my fake mask. If anyone complains, I'll just say that I am really wearing one. And it works just as well as yours! No fooling! I wouldn't do that to you just as I really, really, really know that you wouldn't do that to me either.

If this idea catches on, we can do this for a long time. Why not? Nobody will ever get hurt. We can stage phony strikes, phony tax strikes, phony services rendered, and phony bill paying. We can serve phony food and eat up a storm, cuz we'd never get too fat.

What a concept! We can pay with phony money, which is just as good as the real thing!

Like I said, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Enjoy all this fakery cuz it cannot last.

Time is short

Time is short

If there is going to be a successful outcome here for Trump, it needs to show up soon now. There's not that much time.

I'm convinced that Dems really stole this election, and they are trying to cover it up.

Either this gets revealed soon, or it won't matter anymore.

A few tidbits that adds to my conviction. There was a couple reports out of Michigan. I think it was Michigan, by the way. But there were two reports today that kinda rattled around in my head for awhile. One of them was the report that attorneys who buck the line that Biden won may get punished by an AG. Another is that a court order was obtained to expunge evidence. Both may be in Michigan.

I'm sorry, but if these reports are true ( and why wouldn't they be since that is consistent with the way they've been acting), then they are definitely hiding SOMETHING. If they got it "in the bag" then why the need to do these kinds of things? That was the question that popped up in my head.

So things may be happening, or maybe they are not. But it sure looks like a cover-up to me. Of course, somewhere along the line and very soon, the SCOTUS MUST get involved because it is going to be hard to make a challenge work in the Congress unless you've got more than what you've got now. Enough reports like this might be the thing that can finally get them interested enough to act. But maybe not.

Covid story

Another perspective on COVID

There's an article on Zero Hedge, in which a man tells his experience with the virus.

I know some people are won't to criticize others who have their doubts about this condition, so if I were to get it, I may hear things like --"serves you right".

The way I've written about COVID has changed over the months from skepticism combined with some acceptance to what it is about now. Right now, it is mostly hostile towards those who are exploiting it for personal gain.

But for those who have had it, or have someone close to them who have had it, and have suffered from it, I offer my sympathy. There has never been any doubt in my mind that there's nasty bugs out there and that people can get very sick. I don't claim that any folks out there are being insincere about their suffering.

The thing that gets me suspicious is that stuff that appears not to be right. Taking advantage of an unfortunate situation, no matter what it is, is just not right.

There may be those who say that is is fair game. When it comes to politics, I am for accountability, yes sir. But it seems in this country that accountability goes one way. It is frustrating as hell that there is no accountablity for those who have put this country through this and the other things they have for the past four years.

Trump isn't a "denier". Their claims that he didn't handle it right are just partisan sniping. For me, it is the typical bravo sierra that his critics keep throwing at us.

Despite all the constant sniping, I still think he truly won this election, and the theft is just part of the problem we are having in this country, of which the COVID RESPONSE is a large part of.

If you have a problem with that, then sorry. I'm not shutting up just because some people don't like it.

The author of the piece seems to get reactions from people that they don't want to hear his story. I am willing to listen to other perspectives, but that doesn't change my mind with respect to the way that this has been abused by Trump's critics.

Some of this is just "virtue signalling". I'm not so sure of their claimed virtue.

US Death Rate Historical

 Some quickie observations:

1) there is no trend upward this year, but a slight trending down over the past several years

2) the trend is UP, but this year is not the cause of that trend, and the trend is not accelerating despite

   the so-called "pandemic"

3) for many years previous to the recent upward trend, the trend was DOWN

Just one more reason to doubt that the hysteria surrounding the so-called pandemic.

Merry Christmas.  ( Hah! Bunhug! )

Somebody's lying

So what's new?  Most of today I've spent watching videos on how to spot liars.  Lies can have grave consequences for us all, but we are ill-equipped with how to cope with the lies.

One thing that you can be sure of--- two contradictory ideas cannot be true at the same time.  Who won?

It cannot be BOTH.  It can only be ONE.  Therefore, somebody has to be lying.  We need to get this right, but can we?

Trained lie-spotters can get the truth 90% of the time, according to this video.  Otherwise, it may only be a 50-50 proposition.   Mostly of the public will be in the latter category as opposed to the former.

That's leaves too much wiggle room for the liars.

Bongino on Rumble

Between the 40 and 48 minute mark ( as a guesstimate, as I am not totally sure-- if you want to look it up, you can do it yourself) Bongino describes the process of objecting to a state's electoral votes in the joint session of Congress on January 6th.

My reasoning is that the Supreme Court has to get involved in any case because of partisanship that will decide the outcome. In other words, the Court will most likely decide who will be the winner whether they like it or not.

Not getting involved doesn't make them blameless. That is because of the default mode of the law will decide it in favor of the original electors. In this manner, the Democrats will choose Biden. No way they choose Trump. Non-involvement is tantamount to choosing Biden themselves.

Getting involved merely gets their opinion in. If they choose to disqualify the electors from the contested states, that doesn't guarantee a Trump victory. The reason is the fact that so many GOP members seem so willing to throw in the towel already.

The likely result is that the Democrats will object to the new electors, and maybe enough never Trumpers will join them in order to send the thing to the House.

If that happens, the same thing could happen all over again and the House can choose Biden anyway.

So why get involved? It removes their cover and shows that the thing will be decided by partisan politics in Congress and the voters will not have a voice. That would be the case anyway if there was sufficient fraud, which I believe to be the case.

The Court is involved in any case. At least they could give the voters a voice by objecting to the fraud.

Read the riot act to the GOP

If they won't support us, we should not support them ever again.

What would replace them?  A new party.

I've written of this before, for all the good it has done.

Nightmare on Main Street

Wargaming the resistance

This may be as futile as resisting the "Borg", by the way.

Our overlords are about to sweep away what is left of the Constitution. At the same time, they are going to insist that we went willingly. I don't believe that. If the worse happens, which it appears to be the case, this will have been coerced upon the people.

The "wargaming" refers to what I do about it. If you are reading this, then perhaps you can ask yourselves that. I don't have a give and take with the audience here, so I don't know what those of you who read this are thinking this moment.

Perhaps I'm just talking to myself. Whatever.

If this vaccine becomes mandatory, I'm going to resist. I don't know what that will mean just yet, but it could mean the worst. The "worst" means no medical treatment. The next time I go to the doctor, I may get told that it is a requirement for any further medical treatments. If I get told that, I will just leave. That means doing without any meds and follow-ups for my conditions. This will not be good.

As for mask wearing. If this state gives in to any national mandate, I will be disappointed. But I will do what I can to resist that as well. This may be very challenging, as they may make it very hard to get basic supplies. You know, like food?

This could all turn into a nightmare without end. Or a nightmare that Freddy Krueger could love.

But it ain't no movie.

Not kayfabe, but what?

Trump as Kayfabe?

For those not familiar, which may include yours truly, since I had to look up the term, "kayfabe" is just another word for "fake".

Kayfabe is described as a staged performance as reality. In other words, for those who claim Trump is Kayfabe, they are saying his is just an act.

If that ever caught on, Trump would be kaputski, comrades.

One thing that made me a supporter of Trump was not so much what HE was doing or saying, but what others, especially the GOP rivals, were saying about him. Once he got the nomination in 2016, the Democrats just did what they always do. But the way the GOP treated the guy was an eye-opener for me. The way they are acting now is NOT.

So is the Kayfabe thing just another false accusation against the Donald? I think we may know quite soon.

His enemies keep on saying ridiculous things against him. But there's a possibility that may prove his critics to be right about him. What is that? There's this accusation of him as a dictator. The left accuses him of dictatorship which is ree-goddamned-diculous. If there is anything gold-plated geniune about this guy is his weakness as an executive. That isn't the stuff of dictators. After all this crap that they did to him, there would be people in their graves if he was a real dictator. In my opinion, that is exactly what they deserve.

For him turn this around now, he may have to take on the persona of a dictator. Frankly, I don't think he is made out of that kind of stuff. But if he became a dictator, he certainly wouldn't be Kayfabe. If he refused, he wouldn't be either. Only if he took a very telling "dive" for the mat. That's the thing that could be kaputski for him for sure. I think the guy has a bit more pride than to humiliate himself to the degree that it may save him from his enemies. For that, we've already got the RINO types who do that quite famously.

He's not Kayfabe, or he wouldn't be dangerous to them. So there's my two cents.

Hang on Sloopy Dancer

If you wondered who she was,  this says who she is and it may surprise you.

It surprised me, but sometimes that ain't hard.

Update:

The article linked says it's the state song ( I think ) or Ohio.  Now that is something I didn't know.  It was a big hit in the sixties, but a state song?  Down here, we may not have a state song, but we've got our songs.  Yellow Rose of Texas, for instance.

If Sloopy were to stand in for America, what would you tell her?  To "hang on", or to kiss off?  It seems like a bunch of politicians on the GOP side are telling us on the conservative side to "kiss off".  Or something like that, if you catch my meaning.

If we lose, we lose.  But these guys won't even make sure that it was even a fair loss.  If they can lie to us, they will lie to anybody, in my opinion.  That goes for the libs too, but they don't seem to care.  We know what they'd tell Sloopy.

"Gonna have to earn it"

What if we are headed for a standoff of sorts in this election finale?

Who gets to play the "ugly"?  Who gets to play "the good", and who is the "bad" one?

We know who the baddies are.  The good guy is Trump, and the uglies are the RINOS.  McConnell and his friends don't want to be seen as voting against their own Prez.  It is really UGLY as hell to be a JUDAS or a BENEDICT ARNOLD.  THEY KNOW IT.

As for Joe bin Hiden, he was bothered by the suggestion that he was a fraud.  Well, he is a fraud, and he's the baddie and so are his supporters.  You know they are bad because they won't even address the issue of fraud.  What are they afraid of?  This will haunt them no matter what happens.

Let's see them cards.

Cool hand?

sometimes nothing can be really cool hand

Remember that post?

The SCOTUS' refusal to hear and/or give relief with regards to the Texas suit seemed to be the death knell for the Trump campaign. At least, that is what I thought.

But wait. These people are still at it. They are not giving up. The question now is can this still succeed, or is it impossible?

You've still got to get the SCOTUS to make a ruling on the the certified votes. If they won't take it up, it would seem to be a dead issue.

In any case, the SCOTUS should have gotten involved. Eventually the evidence of fraud will be undeniable, but it will be too late. A stay on the certifications should have been the minimum until this gets sorted out.

It takes to long to collect and present the evidence and the time is too limited.

Trump's got nothing but he continuing and despite all that he might win after all. Sometimes nothing can be a really cool hand, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Smarten up

Alternate universes--- liberalism versus conservatism.

As Bongino said on his show, liberals "walk around the enchanted forest of stupidity". How? Because they believe what liberals say without any critical examination of their own. Why not? They cannot or will not do any research.

Maybe they won't do any research. I used to believe a lot of what passes as liberal orthodoxy. I didn't do any critical examination of things like global warming. That's a least a partial explanation of how so many people fall for liberal bravo sierra. People may be too busy, or just too lazy to look things up on their own. I did it. It seems probable to me that many other people do it too.

The bravo sierra of liberalism filters through the population and can cause ill effects.

One effect is to change the language. Limbaugh used to talk about that. Bongino didn't mention the word "gay", but that is another example as well. It is not a new observation. The effort to make homosexuality more palatable to a population that wasn't at all comfortable with it caused a change in the language. That is a principle worth mentioning. It is a type of cultural engineering.

Bongino calls it the "weaponization of language". A current example is how the phrase "court packing" got changed to mean what the liberals want it to mean. It used to mean when FDR tried to add new justices to the Supreme Court, but now means just nominating Justice Barret to the court. See how that works?

The alternate universes means we cannot talk to each other anymore. Words mean different things to conservatives and liberals. It will have grave consequences for our future if we cannot agree on what words mean.

The stupid people in the forest are a danger to themselves and the rest of us. We all need to smarten up.

Per Supreme Court order, defendant states have submitted a response to Texas' suit

Source for this is from Free Republic. It is almost as if it is being blacked out. Even by sites friendly to conservatives. Where's the people on this?

Anyway, from what I've read in the comments section, the various responses from the states don't seem to address the issue that the court asked them to address.

What that means as to the ultimate outcome, I cannot say. Those who did comment said they weren't lawyers either.

Maybe you don't have to be lawyers to read the Constitution. It is pretty straighforward.

Either we have a Constitution or we don't. I've read the Federalist Papers. The Supreme Court was set up the way it was so that it would be maximally dedicated to preserving the Constitution. Lifetime appointments, not elections, make them less succeptible to political pressures. But they are not immune.

If this isn't a case worthy of their attention, then there isn't any case worthy of their attention. In other words, you DAMNED right it is worthy, and should be settled QUICKLY because there is little time.

Anybody with common sense would agree, I would think. But the way things are going, you may never hear about it even if everyone DID agree.

The media is quickly becoming very paranoid. Wholesale banning of people? Really? Why should anybody trust them?

Parsing Out Pennsylvania

Parsing Out Pennsylvania: If you want to see how a U.S. Supreme Court, packed to 13 or 15 with Joe Biden appointees, would act, then look at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which is dominated by five elected Democrats. In February 2018, the PA Court threw out the existing ...

comment:

The piece goes on to say that the Supreme Court would not throw out the election because there were a lot more races besides the Presidency.

If the system in those states was flawed, why the hell not?  The electors could still be set by the states in time for the electoral college, and new elections could be held with the corrected system for the down ballot races.

Geez.  This is the problem with conservatives.  Always cannot be done according to these people.  If a liberal court was in charge, they sure as hell throw it out.  Libs have done it before, or disregarded or reversed elections.

Texas Sues PA, GA, MI, and WI In U.S. Supreme Court To Have Legislatures Appoint Electors

Texas Sues PA, GA, MI, and WI In U.S. Supreme Court To Have Legislatures Appoint Electors

comment:

This one is getting a lot of attention.   We're past the safe harbor date, for what that's worth.  One of the arguments against moving the date that the electors vote is that Congress sets the date, and only Congress can change that.

There's a lot of arguments for and against Texas' suit, but most seem to be skeptical of this case.

Too bad.  It may be the last chance to reverse this.  If the Supreme Court cannot intervene in a fraud case, in what cases can it intervene?  In other words, if other things, why not this???

It makes no sense

It does not make sense

Some things just don't make sense. A court in Georgia has thrown out Sidney Powell's lawsuit. The reason given is that she lacks standing. But Powell must know the law, so why did she bring a suit that would fail on that basis?

Also, it doesn't make sense that the Trump campaign would distance from Powell if this would be the result of such distance. If she was still connected to the Trump campaign, then there would have to be standing. Once again, Powell would have to know this, so why bring the suit? Does she really have standing, and the court is wrong; or did she bring a suit knowing that it would fail? It makes no sense.

It COULD make sense in a way that still doesn't make sense. How? If the purpose of the suits is not to win, but to move an idea forward. What idea would that be? The obvious one. That the election was rigged, and the system is corrupt.

Nobody on the other side of this accusation seems to care. Where that would take you is a bit further than I would like to go right now.

Men follow courage not titles

Just following the law may be courage enough. Oddly enough, that may be too much for some of these people.

Like it or not SCOTUS must get involved

Update:

The State legislatures do have the final say, but if the Court got involved, they couldn't hide behind the voters. Know what I mean, Vern?

As written before on this blog, the legislatures have the final say, not the "counters" of votes. The CONUS says so, if you bother to read it.

Will the SCOTUS honor the CONUS as they were intended to do from the beginning? If not, then Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barret nominations did not result in orginalists after all.

From there it could go to the House State Delegations and these favor Trump. If all goes the way it should, Trump should get 4 more years.

If that sounds familiar, well it is. Trump most likely really won the votes, but the corruptocracy is stealing it for Biden. Everyone already knew this was going to happen. So it is happening.

The only way for the Constitution of the US (CONUS) to survive is for SCOTUS to do its job, and the rest of the government to honor the law. If that doesn't happen, well we all know that the fix was in, and the rule of law is dead.

The Reality of the election situation

The Reality

It is coming upon crunch time, as the saying goes. Soon, the electoral votes will be legally decided. Once that happens, this phase is over. It won't be about votes any longer. It will be about whatever the politicians choose to do about it.

Under the Constitution, the electoral college votes on the President. The legislatures of the various states determine how those are to be chosen. According to law, that is.

If the law isn't followed, then what? The Supreme Court could intervene, but they cannot tell the legislatures what electors to send. The legislatures have "plenary" power to choose electors. Even if there was substantial fraud that the Supreme Court has decided is proven, the legislatures could set that aside. That's because their say is the last word on this before it goes to the Congress.

From there, the votes are counted, and if nobody gets the 270, then the thing is decided by the delegations of the various states. That would seem to favor Trump, but there is no guarantee of that outcome either. Please note that in most, if not all of the battleground states being fought over, the GOP controls the legislatures. If Trump doesn't win those, it could only mean that the GOP really doesn't support the guy.

So what else is new?

We may have voted for President in this last election, but it is in the hands of the government now. It always has been. That is the reality. If the government is corrupt, then they will do whatever they wish regardless of who "won" the election.

Knee jerk

Knee jerks

This may not be terribly useful, but here goes anyway. It is something that I've written about before. The trouble is, I am relying upon memory, and memories can fail. If memory serves, then perhaps this could be useful.

The recollection is that human beings have psychological "knee-jerk" reactions to certain stimuli. There were six of these cited in a book, in which I cannot remember much else about. One of the authors names ( there may have been more than one author ) may have been Zimbardo.

One of the six was used as a possible explanation for the lack of response from the neighbors of a woman named Genovese, who was murdered in New York in the sixties. The story was this woman was screaming for somebody to help her, but nobody did. There was a lot of criticism of this failure to act, but it was something of a head scratcher. Why didn't anybody come to her aid?

The theory put forth in this book was that it was a knee-jerk reaction, of which there are six. I cannot remember all six, but one of them was called "social proof". What is social proof? In a novel situation, people do not always know what to do. In this situation, people may not have known what to do to help this lady. They looked around at others, and nobody was doing anything, so therefore that was their cue to respond likewise---voila, social proof.

A novel situation prevails today with this coronavirus. It is novel because there has not been anything like this in my lifetime, and I am in my sixties. What do you do? If social proof is of any validity, then people are taking their cues from what others are doing, and are acting the same way.

But there could be another knee jerk reaction mentioned in that book which could be at play. It is called authority. Yes, people do defer to authority. This is necessary for an orderly society, but when does it become unhelpful and even harmful? Well, it was not very helpful in dealing with the likes of Adolf Hitler when he assumed authority in Germany back in the 1930's. That failure led to the bloodiest war in history thus far.

Can you act against your own knee-jerk reactions? If knee-jerk reactions are the explanation for this seemingly mindless reaction to the coronavirus scare campaign, then we might be in some trouble if there is nothing that can counter it.

I'd like to think that human reason can help. All you can do is point to why this thing is not at all the way it is being hyped up as being, and people should be asking questions.

One thing that you don't want is to be the type of person who can only do knee jerk reactions. People can die from that too, you know. The lady Genovese did in New York back in the sixties, and millions died as a result of World War II. It is very important to let your higher faculties being put to use, if you have any.

Positive news

 Dick Morris

Legs

This one has legs

If the idea of suppressing the Johns Hopkins study was to make it go away, well it isn't working. I count several articles in the blogosphere.

I've got a relative who runs a medical facility. Her husband is my nephew, and he says that is just a "money grab".

Much more than a money grab. It is a power grab of all power grabs. Yes, and people have fallen for it hook, line, and sinker.

Don't you love these trite expressions? Lol.

Old people die, well "Duh!"

About that suppressed Johns Hopkins statistical study----

One finding was that the percentage of total deaths ( that all of the deaths in the USA for those in Rio Linda), broken down by age category, was unaffected by COVID.

What you've heard is that old people die of COVID in large numbers.  Well, old people die in large numbers in any case.  It's called NATURE.

Here's the bar charts with the breakdown of total deaths ( including COVID and others ) during the scamdemic.

It is in bar chart form as you see.  The age categories are color coded for easy reference.  The blue bars dominate the top of each bar, and it is consistent throughout the time period, which goes from left to right in this chart.

If you count the total number of deaths in age groups 55 and older, you get 87 percent of all deaths!

What that means is that when you get old, you are more likely to die.  The older you get, the more likely.  This is what Johns Hopkins banned.  Plain old horse sense.

Check the bottom of the charts.  Those under 35 make up only 4% of all deaths.  If you are young, then your whole life is ahead of you.  What a finding!

The thing that should be striking is that all age groups death rates were pretty steady during the scamdemic.  Old people were being wiped out!  No, not any greater rate than usual.  Nothing to see here.  Time to ban the obvious thing that everybody should know already.

Study: Absolutely NO excess deaths from COVID-19

Study: Absolutely NO excess deaths from COVID-19

The thing that caught my eye is that the article said that this information WAS TAKEN DOWN QUICKLY.

The pattern is clear. Any information that contradicts their preferred narrative will be suppressed. It is as if they don't want us to know something.

This information about deaths isn't really new. It is just one more confirmation of the same pattern throughout this phony scamdemic.

The truth is not on their side. What could be more clear? If the truth is on your side, you should want it disclosed for everyone to hear. This is not how these people act.

If the truth mattered to enough people, this fraud will be blown to pieces.

Negativity

The biggest enemy we have right now isn't the Democrats. It seems to be negativity. There is this powerful force to get negative even though there isn't really any reason to do that now.

No, this isn't a lot of rah-rah stuff. The fact is that the main event hasn't happened yet. The longer it is delayed, however, the more the negativity can grow. We need some good news, and we need it soon.

The main event will be when the Court gets involved. Thus far, there hasn't been a whole lot of news coming from there that I've heard about. The state legislatures are the other part of this, and their reaction seems slow and reluctant.

This is probably what the left wants. Fight the negativity. Do something to help, even if it is to fight the tech tyrants. I'm using Duck-duck Go now. Parler, Rumble too. Besides that, I've ended my account with the too-big-to-fail bank. Bongino mentioned that we need our own places. Yeah, but that isn't necessarily an easy thing to do. But doing something to fight back is better than hand-wringing.

Yeah, and this blog is a Google product. Like I said... I need to redouble my efforts.

Big Changes In Supreme Court Opens Door For Trump Challenge – Lunch Alert!

Big Changes In Supreme Court Opens Door For Trump Challenge – Lunch Alert!

The usual suspects are urging us to fold, but there's no reason to do that. Morris further develops his idea that the Supreme Court can make a big difference here. There is no guarantee that they will, though. The "el-foldo" crowd are conducting a psy-op campaign on the justices in order to get them to let this thing stand as is. That's me paraphrasing what Morris says.

But the court has an interest in the matter. If they cannot correct things that are truly wrong, they will have failed. That's my take. Let's see those cards!

No guts no glory

It may be a bluff---let us see those cards

Yep, this is an analogy to a hand of poker. Somebody is trying to bluff you out of the pot and your choice is to fold or to call.

Let's say he shows an unbeatable possibility. But it is only possible. Like an royal flush, say. His hole card would tell the story if his hand is unbeatable or not. On your side, you don't even have a very good hand showing. At best, maybe you've got a pair. But there's a possibility that a pair could win. Even an Ace King high might win this hand. What the other guy doesn't know is your hole card. Maybe your high card is a King, and his is an Ace. His cards showing alone might beat you, but not if you have an Ace, and his high cards are an Ace and a Queen. In other words, you have a chance to win. But do you fold? Especially if the stakes get really high, and that guy is raising you a ton?

If this election is winnable, why not win it? Same as with the analogy here. If you can win, why not go all out to win? Why accept a loss if it isn't necessary?

Does the left want to start a war if they really lost and know it? I think that they would only fight if they knew they won and we were really trying to steal it from them.

They may think that, or it may be part of the bluff. If the stakes are high enough, and I think that they are, you dare not fold. But that's me.

Don't get beat by a "nothing" hand.

Major Supreme Court Reshuffle Opens Pathway For Trump – Lunch Alert!

Major Supreme Court Reshuffle Opens Pathway For Trump Lunch Alert! Sidney Powell podcast

There's a lot of stuff going out there, and there's no reason to feel like all hope is lost. She says that in the next two weeks there will be jaw-dropping revelations that will involve the courts. As Dick Morris says, these courts will definitely be more friendly to Trump.

Hang in there people.

Didn't have to wait 500 years for Idiocracy

Geez how do I write about this stuff

There hasn't been many posts about this election aftermath. It isn't as if I haven't been following it. There are those who are doing a fine job of reporting on it, and all I'd be doing is repeating their words. So that is one thing.

The trend is toward less posting because time is short, and I have to keep pushing my own agendas. Politics is pretty important, especially now, but my time is getting short.

Bongino had something about statistical analysis today, that seemed pretty interesting. Statistics is something that I've followed before. It is worth catching his show if you haven't yet.

There was something on Rappoport's blog that caught my eye. He said something about JFK's assassination. Now I've studied that one, and I find it curious that he seems to have come down on the side of the conspiracy to kill Kennedy back then. He didn't go far with it though. It seems doubtful that there was a conspiracy. The government actually worked halfway decent back then.

One thing that I've learned, or think I've learned, is that the information sources you use are vital. The info you get needs to be good.

The news media is crap and I've thought so for decades now. This stuff that Bongino puts on the air isn't new to me at all. The media is part of the problem now, no doubt about it.

If this election is the one in which we truly lose the country, it would have to be chalked up to one thing, and that is the failure of people to care enough about the truth in order to be informed. Knowledge plus action equals power. If we've lost it, then it is only because we have become idiots.

SEC Allows Expanded Investment—LPPFusion Plans New Crowdfunding

In a big win for LPPFusion and other start-ups, the US Security and Exchange Commission, (SEC), voted Nov. 2 by 3 to 2 to adopt multiple changes in investment law. For us, the most important change is to allow Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) that permit unlimited numbers of non-accredited investors to invest in companies like ours. This will, starting in January, allow LPPFusion to raise investment money from thousands of supporters. We will continue to welcome accredited investors and such investments are possible right now.

Previous to this rule change, companies like ours, which are not listed on stock exchanges, could only raise money from 500 non-accredited investors, a number we have already reached. (An accredited investor must have $1 million in assets or $200,000 in annual income. Non-accredited investors are everyone else.) While greater numbers were not strictly prohibited, the SEC required companies with more such investors to become publicly listed when certain other criteria were met. This might have forced LPPFusion into a very expensive and risky Initial Public Offering (IPO) before we were ready.

Now, all non-accredited investors will invest through a Special Purpose Vehicle, a company set up just to funnel money to LPPFusion. The SPV will be listed as a single shareholder on LPPFusion's books. But potentially unlimited numbers of investors can buy shares in the SPV which will be identical to shares in LPPFusion.

This change will also allow LPPFusion to lower the minimum investment in future crowdfunding campaigns from the $1,000 that we previously had maintained. We will be sharing details of the next crowdfunding campaign as soon as they are decided by our management and Board of Advisors. Stay tuned!

New Switch Parts Start to Arrive

Parts for the new switches for FF-2B have now started to arrive at our lab in Middlesex, NJ. As explained in the last report, the biggest differences between the new switches and the existing switches are their number and size. Instead of one switch per capacitor in the old design, we will now have two switches, a total of 24. And of course, each switch will be about half as big. This will create a significant boost in current.

We have also received the base of our new anode, described in the last report.
Fig. 1 The top plate of the new smaller switches (two dozen of them) is at far top left, with the old switch top plate next to it for comparison. The central holes are for the spark plugs that trigger the switches (not shown). Two switches will be connected to each capacitor through the new switch holder (top right). Machining marks seen on the switch holder are extremely shallow—the surface feels glass-smooth to the touch. The complete assembly attached to each capacitor will look like the design drawing (bottom.)

Simulations, New Ideas Aid Anode Final Design

LPPFusion Mechanical Engineer Rudy Fritch has continued to work with Chief Scientist Eric Lerner on simulations aimed at redesigning the anode stalk. These studies are critical to the next experiment, as the last anode cracked and the new one will be subject to greater currents produced by the new switches.

Fritsch used SolidWorks CAD program to first see how much the anode heated up from surface heating during the microseconds-long pulse of our FF-2B device. With the estimated heat fluxes that we calculated for the experiments we ran last year, the simulation calculated maximum temperatures of 500 C in a very thin layer only a few microns thick. He then fed the thermal results into a mechanical stress analysis. This showed that the heating in such a thin layer created big stresses in the beryllium anode as the layer expanded—up to 1Gpa (gigapascal) or about 140,000 psi (pounds per square inch). This is 3.5 times larger than the tensile strength of our beryllium. This implied that the Be would crack extensively well before it approached its melting point at 1300 C.

But our observation of the inner hole of the Be anode we used seemed to contradict that. (Fig 2) We saw only two big cracks and very smooth, regular waves as if the Be had melted without extensive cracking.
Fig 2. The inner hole of the anode after 200 shots. A ripple pattern implies the metal flowed like a liquid and the bright reflections indicate little or no rougness as would be created by extensive cracking.

In trying to figure this out, Lerner researched how Be properties might change as it heated up. He came across a 2015 study of how Be changes with very fast stress changes. The authors reach pressures of about 20 Gpa, some 20 times higher than those in our initial simulation, in about 100 ns by hitting the Be with an aluminum plate accelerated by high explosives. They had grooves in the Be so as to set up a Raleigh-Taylor instability that would make the grooves grow into waves. If the Be retained its strength, this would not happen. But, observed with fast X-rays, the Be behaved exactly as if it were a fluid, showing no measurable strength at all. It just flowed.

We think this is what happened with our Be—the sudden stress caused it to flow without either melting or breaking. This is good news, since it means this behavior might continue to the higher currents and stresses we expect with the new switches.

However, more simulations are needed to see how the anode vibrates after the sudden stress applied. Once we are sure what redesigns are needed to reduce stresses below the breaking point even for the higher currents we expect, we will order the anode. Unfortunately, the simulations have been taking longer and are more complex to carry out than we had hoped. Considering this delay as well as supplier delivery times and year-end holidays we don't expect to have the re-assembly of FF-2B complete until January 2021. Of course, any delays are disappointing, but we feel that making sure of our redesigns will save time in the end.

Asia Times Covers Fusion-Cosmology Links in Lerner Interview

In another step in increasing LPPFusion's media profile, Asia Times is running a four-part interview with LPPFusion Chief Scientist Lerner. The series, titled "The Big Bang Never Happened, but Fusion Will" ties together Lerner's research in cosmology and fusion—something that has not been done before in any mass media coverage. As readers of our website and reports know, the theories guiding our improvements on the Dense Plasma Focus device came out of research applying processes observed in the DPF to astrophysical objects like quasars.

In just the first day after publication online, the article was read 200,000 times. The initial article is available for free, but the last three parts will be behind a pay-wall. Asia Times will allow them to be viewed by non-subscribers for $5.

LPPFusion is continuing to release new videos in the "Real Crisis in Cosmology" series, explaining how the Big Bang hypothesis is wrong and what the alternative is. Episodes 3,4 and 5 are now released on our
YouTube channel and episode 6 soon will be.
