Censorship

Censorship

Here we go again. When people are asleep or they eyes are averted, these people go about their sneaky business. The Big Tech Censorship is ongoing. Where will it end? These folks don't act like they're innocent. You don't silence people for just showing facts or wanting to persuade people of their authenticity.

Their excuse is the "violence" at the Capitol Building on the 6th. More evidence emerges that the protestors who entered were allowed in by the cops. The Big Tech Censors are using this as an excuse to shut down all opposition.

We won't be allowed to see what really happened. Here's a link via Instapundit. /

It was a political failure in DC

DC more than capable to stop storm on Capitol --- but did not

On the Bongino show, he mentions that the DC police force get more funding than a lot of major cities, and has only 2 sq miles to secure. He went on to say that it was a POLITICAL decision, not a police decision. The fault lies with the politicans, not the cops.

In other words, because the mayor refused to secure the Capitol in advance, it became possible for the tragic event to occur.

Now they are compounding their error by looking for scapegoats. Sure there were bad actors here, but these people want to tar and feather whole classes of people who HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

Bongino also mentioned how Trump got trashed for securing the White House, but now that there wasn't enough security at the Capitol because of a POLITICAL decision made by those who want to defund police, they are complaining about THAT. Maybe all this could have been avoided if you did what TRUMP DID when they tried to storm the White House.

But with the left, it is always somebody else's fault. They screwed this up themselves, and I think that they did it on purpose.

Worrisome Signs the Capitol Breach was Planned to Discredit Trump Supporters: An Eyewitness Account

Worrisome Signs the Capitol Breach was Planned to Discredit Trump Supporters: An Eyewitness Account: It may be weeks before we fully understand the fallout from the January 6, 2021 storming of the Capitol building. The prevailing consensus from conservative talk radio hosts and editors is that this event provided ammunition to Trump’s enemies ...

comment:

An eyewitness account of what happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6th.

If there was any real effort to understand what actually happened and why, accounts like this would be posted everywhere so that as many as possible could see.

Of course, there is another side to the story.

Perhaps for every one of these, there will be others that may contradict it.

At any rate, I think the rush to judgment is a sign of trouble.

Impeachment and removal of the President after not receiving a totally fair and honest challenge of the results of a disputed election is definitely suspicious in its own right.

The count was resumed later that day under the cover of darkness and when many were likely asleep.

Does that sound familiar in any way?  It should.  The general election counting process itself was like that.

Evil happens under the cover of darkness.

Situation grows worse

Situation grows worse

After order is restored and the challenge resulting in failure, Trump gives in, and goes to Camp David. Meanwhile, efforts are being undertaken to remove him from office.

That is not all. Calls for punishment against those who supported the challenge are also being considered, as well as punishing people for doing nothing but to go to DC to support the challenge.

It looks like the First Amendment is out the window. There is a word for all this: defenestration. Everything is going out the window. Heaved out unceremoniously.

Maybe it never really meant anything anyway. Maybe the Constitution was a mirage all these years. Just words on a piece of paper.

The King is Dead. Long live the King. Whatever.

What are they afraid of?

Why all the rush yesterday? If there was an aggressive action against the processes of government, why not wait a few days until the dust settles? Why not find out what happened before you decide to do things? Two weeks before the inauguaration, why not wait a few days?

The Mayor of DC told the police to stand down yesterday. Why? She called for the National Guard, but there was no cooperation between the two while they were there. Why? Was there a setup here? Did they know something like this was in the works and decided to stand down in order to give it a chance to cause trouble?

Now there's a big rush to get Trump out of office. Why? He's going to leave, so why push him out now?

None of this is passing the smell test.

Blame game

Predictable--- Romney blames Trump

Yeah, I wish I made that prediction. I cannot really prove what I was thinking, so I should have posted it. I was thinking that these bozos would blame Trump for what looks like a big double loss in Georgia.

There are reports that Uniparty did the same thing in Georgia in the runoff as they did in the general. It was predictable that this would happen because of their refusal to do anything about it. Since it worked so well for them the last time, why wouldn't they do it again?

But Trump has been loyal to the GOP all along. He cannot be blamed for something that he didn't do. It is typical that the Uniparty blames him for what they did themselves.

I suspect the real reason is that people really voted for Trump the first time around and didn't come back because they know that the fix was in. Turnout was low, I've read.

In a sense, Romney was right to attach blame for those who believe that it was a fix. You have to "wear the black hat" before you even have a chance to stop the corruption. If Romney and the rest of the corruptocrats refuse to acknowledge the fix, and do something about it, then there was little reason to vote for these pretenders.

There were millions who didn't vote for Romney when he ran. This is undoubtedly the big reason why. The guy is either completely tone-deaf or he is corrupt himself. Either way, he is a loser.

If this guy thinks he can fix the GOP, he is dumber than a rock. Until guys like him are sent out the door head first, the GOP is hopeless.

There needs to be a new party. Short of that, an independent caucus that will caucus with the party, but will vote and act independently. The GOP though is deader than a doornail. Maybe they don't know it yet. The sooner that reality is accepted, the sooner something can be done about it.

Hopium not available here

Hope springs eternal

Despite everything that has happened lately, it seems that there is still hope out there.

This doesn't mean I'm eternally hopeful or not. As always, realism counts the most. It wouldn't be consistent with what I've written before if I were to go to one extreme or the other.

As of this writing, the results of the election in Georgia must be coming in. I will not track those. Regardless of the outcome, if an election is not 100% safeguarded against fraud, then what is the point?

Our public officials, including members of both parties, seem to care little for the sacred right to vote. If a clean vote is not obtained, that right might as well not exist.

There has to be accountability. I don't think that applies to our leadership anymore. Without it, they can do anything they wish without any fear of voter backlash. That is a scary proposition.

It would seem to be insane to want to surrender that for any reason whatsoever. But many people seem to be prepared to do just that.

Some may argue that that is what I've done. No. I would vote again if they would honestly look at what happened this time. But they won't. To me, that is realistic. I haven't quit, I just recognize the reality of the situation. Our vote doesn't matter to these people. It is just a prop so that they can claim democratic processes.

That prop is the biggest fake of all. It no longer the land of the free and home of the brave. It is a fake land of fake people. I insist upon not being a part of that any further. No more elections for me until this situation is corrected.

Failure is not an option

Some have said that the election challenge will be more failure theater.  Failure theater is another way of saying kabuki theater, where the outcome is predetermined, and all the roles are meant for the GOP to be the loser.

There is an election in Georgia.  I say that political accountability requires that those who do not get it done should be held accountable.  If they do not or will not support us, then they don't deserve any votes.

Failure is not an option.  No more kabuki.  No more failure theater.  Get it done or else.  No "nice tries".

Where there is a will there is a way

A way to win this thing

Go around their obstacles where possible. The Governors won't call a special session to record their choice for POTUS? Then call around and get their votes by phone. If you can get enough of them on record to support Trump, this info could be supplied to the Senate in time for the challenge TOMORROW.

I suspect the leadership is gumming up the works. Go around the leadership. IF enough of them do this, it may make a difference.

Time is running out quickly now. I sure hope they have a plan for this.

Not the time to shut up

Not the time to shut up

Maybe it's because I'm old that I see through a lot of what's happening today. This business about Speaker Ryan is pure manipulation. They are using authority to manipulate people into acceptance. So when Speaker Ryan says something, people are more likely to believe it. It is hardwired in the human mind to defer to authority.

But it doesn't pass the truth test. It really doesn't make any difference who says it. If it is wrong, then it is wrong. There's nothing wrong nor immoral about thinking for yourself. Actually, "democracy" requires it. Totalitarians hate it.

Perhaps the audience isn't oldtimers, but for the younger folks. But for the younger set, it will be they who will have to fight in the wars these people have been getting us into. Biden voted to go into Iraq, as did Hillary. Oldtimers don't fight the wars. The younger ones get sucked into it.

The younger folks will also be the ones who will have to suffer the longest if this all goes badly. It does look that way now.

The media don't get anything right. The Democrats have challenged the last several GOP victories. Yet people like former Speaker Ryan act as if it is the unpardonable sin to ask questions. Democracy requires it, totalitarians hate it. "Democracy" dies in darkness, while they spread the darkness.

Challenges are not "unprecedented". It might be unprecedented for the GOP to stand on its own hind legs for once and talk back at these liars. The Dems have not been so timid, even when they don't have anything valid to complain about. The GOP just sits back and takes that, but it when it is their turn to challenge, all they can do is cave in.

That's what makes people like Ryan suspicious. They talk the same way Democrats do. If they don't want the questions they like to say the equivalent of "shut up". If you don't speak up now, you may lose the right forever. Don't let them tell you to shut up.

Their entire game is about deception. If we cannot overcome the deception, we've had it.

Faking Democracy to hide their intentions

Hiding behind the false fig leaf of Democracy

These politicians want to hide behind the claim of the "will of the people". But there's no requirement under the CONUS that they do so.

The State Legislatures can disregard the popular vote. Remember the National Popular Vote Compact proposal? Regardless of the vote within a state, a member of that compact would award their electors to the purported winner of the popular vote. Therefore, if that were constitutional for them to do so, then they could disregard their state's popular vote.

Rather than to discuss if that were constitutional, it would be best to recognize that these politicians don't respect the popular vote anyway. The SCOTUS also disregarded the "will of the people" of California when they made same-sex marriage legal. It is not unprecedented for the courts to do it. It is not required under the CONUS, and the politicians would disregard the voters of their own state under a proposed compact. Democracy is a fig leaf. The fake is a fraudulent vote count.

Therefore, who do they really want to be POTUS? That is the real question. Not who won the election. If they cared about that, they would honor it. They do not honor it now. They are hiding behind it as their excuse for doing what they wanted to do all along.

If the GOP doesn't want Trump, why didn't they refuse to nominate him at the RNC? Why put the country through this? Likewise, if they DID want him to be POTUS, then why don't they act that way now?
