Dems feeling sorry for themselves

WaPo in full psychotic breakdown

I linked to the page, which is something that the left would never do to any response to its dark imaginings of a second Trump term.

So, what could a Trump supporter get from reading something like this?

The thing I would fear is that something like this could be used as a pretext for another power-grab. Or something even more dark and sinister.

Look, these people are scared. Largely they are scared about what harm may come to themselves for opposing Trump. But what they don't seem to get is that their opposition is not why they should be punished. Yes, many of them should be punished. But even if Trump wins, and the Congress shifts to the GOP, none of his dark imaginings will likely materialize.

How do I know this? I think I know the GOP. They don't march lockstep like the Democrats do. You cannot get the GOP to unite anymore than you can get a cat to obey commands. But this guy thinks that the GOP are super united and everything. The fact that he dark imaginings didn't happen after 2016 doesn't seem to get considered here.

The GOP isn't going to reform itself and actually unite behind anything at all, especially being decent for a change.

I see a second Trump term as a lot like the first. The GOP will pretend to support him, but won't. The Democrats will continue to falsely accuse, and not be held to account for it.

If that didn't happen, and there was real accountability, a lot of people may end up being charged with treason. And they should be. But it won't happen. To me, that would be a shame.

This sick ass rant of his just displays his fears that they may be some accountability after all. He is so broken hearted by it all. Poor baby.

Destroyed the evidence, Trump said. He's right. They did.

By the way, Biden's poll numbers in Rasmussen is at 45%. Never underestimate the power of stupid.

Where's the beef?

Congress votes to expel Rep. Santos

There weren't many details given in the article. Seems like I've read that he lied a lot. If they're going to remove Congresscritters for lying, they might as all resign now.

Just more stupidity from the GOP. Sure, they have a razor thin majority. They may owe some of it to this guy, so what do they do? They make their majority smaller. Makes sense to me!!! /not Representative Gaetz said that there was no precedent for removing a Congresscritter except for felony or joining the Confederacy. I guess this is "improving" the situation.

This isn't going to impress any of their enemies, and people don't seem to give a hoot anyway. They all lie their asses off all the time. It's just stupid, but that why they are called the stupid party. I suppose their reasons are that they want to uphold standards. Yeah. Right.

Jan 6th was false flag op just as I thought

12/01/23: Update to yesterday's post:

Balls to the wall, matey! Methinks the thugs have stepped into a ton of Donkey doo.

end update:

There doesn't appear to be any sign that this crap is going to ease up. To the contrary, the thug running the Trump investigation has asked for an all inclusive search warrant for all data on all Trump supporters.

This crap is going to get real, and maybe soon.

Trying to embed with Rumble, but if it does not work, then here's the link.

Why did you do that???!!!

Bongino explains it all in this video. Clever.

Why the left hates Musk is for stuff like this

There was this "saying" which the saying applies here. That saying is that to make a liberal mad, tell the truth about him. Here's some truth that liberals really hate, and would rather not be seen. If Twitter was still controlled by the left, would this stuff get out there?

You'd never see it. Now it is all over the place, the left hates that. It makes them look bad. Well, they should look bad. They KNOW it, and that's why they cleaned up the streets of San Fransicko for their Chinese masters.

The left wants censorship because they need it to hide their filth.

Pizzagate in the news

Never followed Pizzagate. That trail includes a whole lot of other stuff, which WOULD be of interest to me.

The Epstein thing is a big deal. Democrats are desperate to keep it bottled up. Why indeed.

The Last of Starship V1 | Starbase Update

Iterative design for you. Thinner skin, bigger volume meaning more fuel, more engines, more powerful engines. This thing is already a monster, and it is getting even bigger.

Seems like there was a special kind of metal alloy that was going to be used in the VentureStar program back in the nineties. I wonder if it would be possible to use this alloy in their design. Maybe they've already ruled it all out. But who knows? It might find its way in future versions of the Starship.

The use of tiles seems too labor intensive, and therefore it is something that would slow them down. What if it was dual plates of this alloy and stainless steel. Include the tiles as redundancy. Maybe the thing could be made so robust that even if a tile or two fell off, the ship would survive a reentry.

Greetings from Mike Flynn

The tweet was pointed to by a Mike Flynn tweet not shown here. We need a whole lot more of this. This many years, and we still don't know who killed Seth Rich. We'll probably never know, and the reason why is that commies kill their own when they are no longer convenient.

Seth Rich was a Bernie Sanders guy. Hillary probably had him killed because he interfered with her plans to use the Russia bullshit angle on Trump. Can't believe even "right winger" types cannot see that. Well, just about everybody has their head up their asses at some point.

Canadian Free Press: "Progressive national self-loathing is an existential threat to the republic"

My first reaction as I read the headline above was to go there and then write it up as the kind of the problem we're dealing with. That is to say, why call it "progressive" when it isn't progressive? It's communist. The word "progressive" is being used to soften the impact of the real meaning of the word. Communism still has a pejorative meaning. Even the women who vote for communists see it as a flag in their male prospective husbands.

So here's the link

I won't bitch too much about the article, because it is largely dead on. But the use of the word "progressive" for communist has got to go.

We beat the communists before, and we need to beat them again. This time, we should not be so damned nice about it.

Starship update, 11/29/23

I guess we're on Elon time again. He said 2-3 weeks, and it means 2 or 3 months. Maybe longer. No, probably longer.

I'd like to see him tee up another and launch the fu***r. But that is wishful thinking.

Nobody is serious, this isn't even a problem if there were serious people out there.

I read somewhere recently that counting votes after midnite of an election should not be counted. This is actually in the Constitution, and a lawsuit could have been filed in 2020 to overturn the "shennanigans" mentioned below.

So, if that is so, why wasn't it done? If the Supreme Court refused to hear it, then it is on them. Evidently, it wasn't even tried. So it is on Trump. Yep. Could be that all of this, including Trump himself, is just playing a game here. This isn't serious. Nothing is in the Western world anymore. Something as basic as that could have been done, and wasn't. What does that tell you?

Checking in, 11/28/23

I don't know if it is me, or if something is changing out there. There doesn't seem like much in the news that I'd like to comment upon.

Perhaps there is something out there that would inspire, and I'm not finding it. Truth is, I'm not looking for it all that hard. I have noticed this phenomenon for awhile now. Posting is dropping off a bit, and it may be accelerating.

Perhaps I can regear and it get it going again. Meanwhile, I'll just check in to say that I'll be back soon. Probably tomorrow, but stuff is on the agenda, so maybe not that much tomorrow either. I'll try to get something up every day. Even SpaceX seems to be getting quiet.

Gaslighting 101

11/27/21: Update of recent post of 11/21/23:

Counseling a Gas-lit nation

quote:
How does a nation respond when the abusers are politicians from both parties and nearly the entirety of the administrative state and legacy media?

Answer: "Get yourself free".

end update:

11/21/23: Update of 11/6/23 post:

The poll has a lot of undecided responses. If these were converted to properly record the truth, the result would have been far more decisive.

end update:

11/6/23: Update:

This is like putting the KKK in charge of civil rights... Unbelievable. It's Orwellian. The people who favor terrorism should be in charge of protecting the terrorists?! Now tell me: Who exactly is Joe Biden representing? He's not representing the USA, that's for sure. I wonder who bought him off... Follow the money, of course. If the GOP does that in the House, Joe could have some 'splaining to do. Joe got rich selling out his country.

The Muslim Brotherhood front, aka "CAIR", will deal with "Islamophobia" in America

end update

Daily update 2

That part yesterday about how America and Israel are equated? I got that from an Iranian-American. By the way, I don't think he was Muslim. He said something once about what he believed, and that wasn't Islam. It sounded like Zoroastrianism. Anyway, I didn't pull that out of my hat.

Thought I'd add this link too about a foiled terrorist attack in my hometown of Houston. It seems that these poor Muslims are always the victims. /sarc

end update 2

11/4/23: Update to yesterday's post:

Powerline blog: Cease fire? You can't be serious

When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, there was no cease fire just because they didn't like getting their asses kicked. It was unconditional surrender. The same went for Nazi Germany. The war should be prosecuted until Hamas surrenders. The talk about innocent loss of life is irrelevant. This was an act of war, and there's no reason to quit until there is complete victory. If those folks cared about innocent lives, they wouldn't have started the war in the first place. If they cared about innocent lives, they would put down their weapons. The war continues until Hamas is utterly destroyed, or they surrender unconditionally. Nothing short of that will do.

Secondly, it isn't Israel's fault that they were attacked. It's not America's fault that Muslims get the blame for what their religion teaches. Muslims should be telling Hamas to quit fighting, not the other way around. If Muslims here get some heat for that, so be it. In fact, they SHOULD be getting some heat. Why should our government protect those in the wrong? It isn't OUR fault, it is actually this administration's fault that this is happening. But they come after US instead? RUFKM???

end update:

Update 2, bringing the receipts:

The goal of Hamas (and its supporters) is to kill all Jews

It should be added that countries like Iran consider America and Israel to be the same. This isn't just about the Jewish people. They believe they have the right to kill all unbelievers. This is Islam. This is what drove the 911 attack. But nobody will be allowed to connect those dots without being labeled a "hater".

end update 2:

Update a short while later..

While Biden and Harris blame everybody but those responsible, Muslims are anything but passive victims.

end update:

Muslims are only practicing their 1st Amendment rights to kill infidels without mercy. What's your problem, anyway? Try to think of it as a type of late term abortion. That's the norm these days, isn't it?

How dare you object to killing innocent babies?

A little sarcasm is in order. Maybe a lot of sarcasm.

Linear functions versus exponential functions

Here's another reason to dispute the AGW theory. Heat involves motion. Motion requires work, or is related to work. So, the temperature of the system is actually the measurement of the motion of atoms within that system. Something has to get those atoms moving. Because of the fact that atoms have mass, this energy requirement is an exponential function of its velocity.

An exponential function means that its "slope" rises much faster than a the slope of a linear function. This has to be so, because it takes a lot more energy to accelerate than it takes to maintain a velocity. In every day life, try to verify it the next time when you press down hard on the accelerator pedal. Notice how the miles per gallon sinks very fast when you accelerate fast. The energy requirements are the square of the velocity. Same thing for raising the temperature of a system. You have to get those atoms and molecules moving faster, and that means an exponential function of the energy requirements.

The temperature gauge may appear to be rising slowly, but the energy requirement rises much faster than than what it may seem. If you accelerated all the time, your gas mileage would be very poor indeed. They'll tell you to take it easy on that gas pedal if you want better gas mileage.

This may not seem to correlate very well with AGW theory. It may be hard to see the connection. But any temperature rise must involve more mass. Thus, those who say they believe the AGW theory will tell you that the planet Mars doesn't have enough atmosophere to get a greenhouse effect. The only way to get more atmosphere on Mars is to add more mass. It already has 95% carbon dioxide in its atmosphere. But carbon dioxide doesn't make it a hot planet. You need more mass or you need more energy. But increasing mass would increase energy requirements at a linear rate, whereas the energy requirements would need to increase at an exponential rate. Consequently, even if Mars had an atmosphere like Venus, it still would be a cold planet. That's because there's a lot less energy getting to Mars, because Mars is much further from the sun. If adding a lot more atmosphere to Mars won't make it much warmer, then why would adding a little more carbon dioxide make it significantly more hot on Earth? The reason that the mass increase is a linear function, and we won't get any more energy from the sun even if we doubled the carbon dioxide concentration on Earth. The temperature on the surface of any planet is related more closely to its energy input from the sun than the composition of its atmosphere. Increasing the mass only increases the energy requirements at a linear rate, you see.

For energy requirements require an exponential function of velocity. That's because an increase in mass is only a linear function for energy requirements. This is why atom bombs are much more powerful than chemical bonds. Einstein's famous equation shows this. The square of the velocity ( in Einstein's equation) means that for any expenditure of mass would yield a great amount of energy. This is one of the most basis facts of physics. It is the same for the calculations for the expenditures of energy to do work, which is also an exponential function. The expenditure of energy for work increase much more rapidly for the velocity ( it's the square of the velocity) than for the mass being moved. Increasing mass doesn't increase energy requirements as much because it is a linear function.

Consequently, changing the mass of the atmosphere doesn't raise temperature nearly as much as the climate warmists would have you believe. No matter how much you add mass, it won't be nearly as much at it would require in energy requirements because that would be a linear function. Even if you concede that it would raise temperatures, it still would not be nearly enough to make a noticeable difference. After all, were talking about parts per million of the Earth's atmosphere. That's not much mass, and even if that number were much much larger, it still wouldn't be enough. For that you need an exponential function, and that isn't the case here. It's not possible to move Earth's distance from the sun. Not yet, at least. The energy requirements for that would be astronomical. That's the whole point.
