Awhile back, Sessions seemed to be leading big time against Tuberville, but he's still kicking.
The loss of a conservative seat in Alabama was a big loss. Not everybody is sold on Tuberville, but Sessions was a real dud as AG.
Sessions did not have to recuse. Rosenstein was his choice as Deputy AG, and Rosenstein hired Mueller. If I was in Alabama, that would be enough for me.

-Hospitalizations are up because of delayed treatments because of COVID-19. New all-inclusive testing shows new cases that aren't really cases because people aren't sick from COVID-19.
-They're not going to hospitals because of COVID-19! It is something else that got delayed.
-Demonstrations due to the George Floyd incident led to a spike. But these people are young, and they don't die from this virus.
-Look at deaths not "cases".
-The virus is nearly gone regardless of what is "done" about it.
-COVID "cases" get reported differently than any other infectious disease. That is a fact. It's POLITICS.
-The numbers being reported are probably very much overstated in all its aspects.
-Rollbacks of openings are "ridiculous".
-COVID-19 is like any other virus. It isn't a super-virus or bug. It behaves as all other viruses have or will.
Relax! You aren't going to die. At least not yet.

Bernie Sanders from visible opposition while protecting candidate gibberish from himself.

national debate adverse to their interests. COVID-19 panic pushes the national conversation into the digital space where Big Tech
controls every element of the conversation.
♦Without COVID-19 panic Democrats cannot keep their Blue state economies easily shut-down and continue to block U.S. economic growth.
All thriving economies are against the political interests of Democrats.

All of these,

more, strategic outcomes are based on the manufactured weaponization of the COVID-19 virus to achieve a larger political objective.
There is ZERO benefit to anyone other than Democrats for the overwhelming hype surrounding COVID-19. It is not coincidental that
all corporate media are all-in to facilitate the demanded fear that Democrats need in order to achieve their objectives. Thus there
is an alignment of all big government institutions and multinationals to support the same.
Nothing is coincidental.
Everything is political.
Besides, the comment is with respect to a great article that shows that the COVID-19 "crisis" is over or nearly over...
When Reagan took over as POTUS, the country was going through what was called an "energy crisis". There were folks back then who didn't believe in this crisis. There were those who did. I was on the side of those who did if you can believe that.
Well, I didn't vote for Reagan in either 1980 or 1984. But he was right about the miscalled energy crisis. If Reagan didn't deregulate the oil industry, the government might have taken it over. I know there was talk about that back then. If not a takeover, then a humongous regulatory scheme from hell. If you look now, the energy crisis seems to be gone.
There was also a 55 mph speed limit that took over 20 years to get rid of. The whole idea behind the speed limit was to save gas. It didn't work too well. Besides, there was a lot of civil disobedience with respect to that limit. A small industry was created in how to evade the limit. Finally, sanity returned and both of these relics from the 70's were done away with.
But the left keeps on coming back with their silly ideas.
If you want to make comparisons between now and then, there really isn't anything different. This time the government is trying to take over EVERYTHING. With this phony crisis, they will end up destroying private enterprise, and we will be told that socialism is the only way to restore the economy.
But it is the government that is destroying the economy.
It is doing it ostensibly because of a health care issue, but that is just as phony as the energy crisis of the bygone era just mentioned. There is no crisis except that the government is getting way too involved in everyone's lives, and we would all be a lot better off if they would do what the "Bandit" did in the movie Smokey and the Bandit.
The movie was really about the civil disobedience to the nutty ideas related to an energy crisis. People back then used their CB radios to avoid the "smokies" who enforced the speed limit.
What the bandit did was ask Sheriff Buford T. Justice of Texas if the letters F.O. had any meaning for him.
The government just needs to get this message. But somebody has to deliver it.

Basically, it says the doctors know better, but they are afraid for their careers. They are aiding and abetting a lie.
It makes sense. People get intimidated and they do what they are told. Doctors are helping the scam by saying things that are not so.
People are suckers for authority. How do I know that? It was written about many years ago, and I came across it. Respect for authority is hard-wired into human beings. If the authorities tell you something, it is almost a knee-jerk reaction to believe it.
It is very hard to buck authority. Especially if it gets you punished. But authorities can LIE and they do LIE. The punishment they can mete out is the intimidation that gets people to comply.
You have to resist the temptation to give in to the fear that they want you to feel.
