Worth your time.

The corruption has gone too far

7/4/26:

So Bongino takes his July 4th vacation. He has a word for the likes of this post: "doomerism". Was I becoming a "doomer"? It surprised me that Trump evaded jail, and was reelected.  He has had a strong run, but it doesn't seem to matter.  That is, if you are inclined to listen to the doomers.  I'd rather not be a doomer. However, it is better to be ready for whatever comes. If you really believed things were going to go downhill in a permanent way, wouldn't you be preparing for it? Bongino prepares himself, but is it enough? You need to know fundamental stuff that has been forgotten.  Seems to me that nothing than can be done will be enough. You could try living off the land, but that would be a hard life. A hard life offers little in the way of vacations.

Are things so bad that it's un-fixable? As Einstein said, the mind that created the problem is not the mind that can fix it. If too many have lost their minds, what chance is there really to fix things up?  Perhaps the worst thing is the infighting among the GOP.

6/4/21: The original post is below:

Let's suppose that the government really is so corrupt that it cannot be fixed. Therefore, any attempt at a redress of grievances will lead nowhere. It will get you punished, instead.

Let's say all the ballot audits turn out to show without a doubt that the election was rigged. But instead of taking steps to fix that only leads to punishing results.

Let's say it is adjudicated until it reaches the Supreme Court, but the court does nothing.

In other words, all attempts at dealing with the situation fail, and nothing leads to any positive results, but the opposite. Then what?

If you think on this carefully, all of the above has already happened. Except the results of the audits, but do you really expect that to go anywhere? There are those that do, but when it doesn't, then what?

Trump's election was a redress of grievances, but look what is happening to him. If DeSantis takes his place, they'll do it all again. This is getting meaner and meaner. No question that this will lead to violence at some point. Wait! That already happened to Ashli Babbit. She was the only one to die of violence at an insurrection that didn't happen.

The situation has been compared to a casino, where the house always wins. But even a casino has to let the suckers win sometimes. We're at the point where the house can't stay in business if it lets the suckers win this time, because the suckers feel like the game is rigged. Even if the suckers "win" the house doesn't give up its chips.

Trump wasn't allowed a normal Presidency. If he had been, how many of these crooks would have been behind bars? Therefore, he couldn't have a normal Presidency. They impeached twice, and would have convicted, but the con-artists in the GOP couldn't run their own con if they convicted an obviously innocent man.

They have gone so far with their frauds and corruption that anything is now possible for them. It is so because the stakes have gotten that high. Didn't Hillary say that they would all hang if Trump were to win the White House?

If that was true in 2016, then it certainly is true now. The crimes have piled up so high that "somebody will have to pay for this hanging".

Yeah, but who is THAT? Biden has practically declared war on all opposition. They are getting ready for what they must sense is coming. He sounds almost as if he is trying to start a civil war.

If the house cracks down, which looks like they will, then what? Swallwell as a candidate for President said that they would use nukes. Maybe it wouldn't be nukes, but it could be something like a weapon of mass destruction.

If so, then what? What if they already did? Then what?

What’s Going On In California?

7/4/2026:

Almost 14 years ago that this post was written up. Have things changed? If it has changed, then it is for the worse. California is in a death spiral.

But Miley Cyrus can sing her songs about Party in the USA. But the party is over, kiddoes. It matters not who wins the elections. "Fat and stupid is no way to go through life, girl." Of course the song is sung by a airhead. That's the norm out there, evidently. Paging the ragin' cajun. Whaddya say, Jamesy boy?????? Still want us to eat your dust????

But ya'll have buried yourselves in your own stupidity and corruption.

7/10/12: The original post is below:

This is a disgrace. I may not live long enough to see the consequences of this extraordinary failure and that may be a blessing.

That reminds me.  I'm going back over the book "What's the matter with Kansas?", but that book was talking about the wrong state.  These liberals have a lot of gall to write about anything critical about conservatism when they should take a good look in the mirror at themselves and one of their own bluest of the blue states.

An Aesop Fable for ya

7/3/26:

It is only fair that I report a little something on my health. After all, I brought it up. It seems that things are mostly unchanged from before. It is still being watched. This word came up in the report: "borderline". It seems like another step is needed, but it isn't clear which way to go.

The other part of the health issue tied to this post is largely a matter of rehab. That part is under way. It appears to be somewhat promising.

My health is not the reason for this post, however. It is about James Carville. It seems that he feels no longer part of the Democrat party. Or something to that effect.

Now for the real reason for this post:

James Carville and the rest of the Democrat party, are like the little birdie that fell out of the nest. They are "in the shit", and maybe they are wondering how to get out of the shit. However, it is not always good to get out of the shit, as the moral says.

The "shit" is what they got themselves into once they aligned with communists. Now that it has turned on them, those that don't agree with how things are now developing find themselves in a quandary. When you are in a quandary, you have to wonder how to get out of the shit you got yourself into. How do the Democrats do anything like that? If they really split with commies, neither of them have a chance. So how does Carville and the rest get themselves out of this shit???

In order to get out of the shit, they'll have to do something that they don't want to do. That's the conundrum. My suggestion: For once in your lives, stop lying. That might help. For if they are really in the shit, and like to get out of it, they might ask for help. But if Carville was not serious about his regrets, then none of what he said can be taken seriously. Either way is not good for them. Now that part may be real.

6/23/26: The original post follows:

A revelation came upon me this fine morning... But it isn't an Aesop Fable. Nope. Can't back that up. But it is a Fable worth telling. An little, old snippet of wisdom that folks may want to consider.

Before I get into that, first let's say we got something of a problem right now. It will take something, which I won't name now, in order to get through it ok. Once I tell the little Fable, I'll tell ya what that "something" is.

Another part of this story relates to our addiction to convenience. That means almost everybody. Nobody seems to want to be inconvenienced in the slightest. This relates to the "something". That missing "something" is related to the addiction to the convenience.

Convenience is like a drug. It is very addictive. But it has consequences. One of those consequences is something I am dealing with RIGHT NOW. Hence the revelation.

And now for the FABLE....

There was a little birdie that just hatched. It was up in a tree. The little birdie fell out of its nest. Where it fell was into a freshly laid dump from a cow. The dung was still warm, so the little birdie didn't freeze to death. So the little birdie was safe. However, not for long. Along came a bear, and found the little birdie in the cow plop, and picked it out of the plop, and ate the little birdie.

MORAL OF THE STORY:

It's not always bad to get into the shit, and not always good to get out of it.

The origination of this FABLE is unknown. But the lesson is the revelation I had. You see, all my life, I have been addicted to the easy way. The easy way is convenient. But I am not alone. I suspect this entire civilization of the West is addicted to convenience.  People want to be done with Iran.  But it is not that easy to just walk away.  It will take something that might hurt a little.

What does this have to do with the little birdie? It's the moral of the story. What is lacking is necessity for GUTS. The exercise of GUTS is painful. If it wasn't painful, it wouldn't need GUTS. The habit of convenience addiction makes you morally WEAK.

What does this have to do with our society? We have a problem with Iran and Russia. Also China. In order to deal with this problem, we need some GUTS. The convenient thing would be to walk out on Iran. The convenient thing would be to walk out on Ukraine. The convenient thing would be to walk out on our responsibilities.

For better or for worse, we got into the shit in Iran. It won't necessarily be good to get out of it now by just cutting and running.

Bad things happened afterwards. It happened in Vietnam. It happened in Afghanistan. It can happen again. It must not be allowed to happen. It won't take much INCONVENIENCE to put up with high gasoline prices for a little while. It won't take much INCONVENIENCE to help out the Ukrainians PROVIDED that such assistance would be helpful in OUR INTERESTS. I think a deal could be made with Ukraine to get drones for the Patriot system.

We can get out of the shit in Iran with a victory. But if we get out of Iran with a bad result, we are going to be in a world of shit eventually because of it.

As for me personally, I have to be inconvenienced for awhile dealing with something that has developed with my health. If I won't be inconvenienced in slightest in order to deal with this, I will probably die soon.  If I suck it up, I can probably live a little while longer.  Hence the revelation that brought this post to life.

Let those with a brain take heed.

Great scene from a great movie

So, the character says he will never be on the wrong side again. But he gets tricked later on, and this is what gets William Wallce captured. So, his father noted what he said in this scene, and found a way to trick him so that Wallace could be eliminated. What came later was another scene in which he confronts his father about the trick that got Wallace captured.

His father replies, "you let yourself be deceived". Indeed, that is how deception works. If you let yourself be deceived, then it will happen. Deception depends upon that happening.

Easy to promise to not do (or not do) something, but much harder to actually accomplish it.

Pres. Trump calls communism the biggest threat to America since its founding

Liberty Daily on Rumble

Promethean Action video.

Summary and short discussion:

Trump is pushing the American system of Alexander Hamilton, which produced the wealth that so many have taken for granted. The America's enemies have pushed the "culture war" that makes American citizens hate their own country, so that there won't be a will to fight.

Comment:

It amazes me how much negativism there is on the so-called "right". Anybody who uses that term ( Veep Vance did ) loses a lot of credibility with yours truly. We are definitely not out of the woods by any stretch of the imagination. There needs to be an American system that survives into the future, or the commies will continue to undermine our country. Trump is right.

Les Miserables musical, Thenadier

The couple who kept Cosette for her mother, Fantine. The couple get to sing in the musical version of the Victor Hugo novel.

Wishbone mentioned it, and so here it is.

There are several versions of this movie on Tubi. There's one with Richard Jordan as Valjean, another with Liam Neeson as Valjean, and the one I was watching earlier today. It is not a Hollywood production, and I don't know this actor.

Wishbone says it was taught while he was in school. When I got there a few years later, it wasn't being taught. Who knows what is taught in schools these days. The commies slipped those weenies in slowly so that folks wouldn't notice it so much. It's like the little froggie in the pan that gets boiled as the heat is turned up slowly so that the froggie can jump out when it got too hot.

Firebell in the night

Here's a stab at a polished up essay regarding the current political events transpiring in the past week. It may be a bit spicy for some. I ran it through the AI for historical accuracy and it seems to pass muster.

Spelling and grammar corrections came next, with the somewhat polished version of it, plus the added pdf of the historical analysis mentioned.

AI dialogue:

Proof this one please:

The “firebell in the night” historical reference strikes again.

Read up on your history if you dare. The series of bad policy decisions in Washington DC led up to Civil War in the nineteenth century. Is history repeating itself? It could be the case with the lack of action in Congress, with regard to the SAVE ACT, and very questionable Supreme Court decisions.

Historical example: The Dred Scott decision. This was a pivotal decision from the Supreme Court in the pre-Civil War days. That from the Court of that time that galvanized sectionalist division.

Toss in the Kansas-Nebraska Act in order to complete the witches-brew that led to "Bleeding Kansas" and the war. Thos kind of policy errors brought upon the nation the tragedy of Civil War back then, and similar policy errors mentioned are the same kind of divisiveness being repeated today. Will history repeat first as tragedy then as farce? The farce is the witches brew of fraud. Will the fraud be exposed? Will the message be heard?

Don’t count me optimistic that kind of prudence will materialize. The nation will be gas-lighted into oblivion by the propaganda masters in the fake new media. Ordinary folks are not immune from a campaign of lies and fraud. That was demonstrated throughout the COVID madness. If gas-lighting doesn’t do the trick, ballot harvesting can fill in the gaps. We've seen that one too, with the phonied up election of 2020, and the false flag "insurrection" false narratives that spewed forth from the January 6th 2021 righteous protest.

Folks may say that this is alarmist. But that’s the kind of tactics the gas-lighters will take in the fake news media. It shouldn’t work, but it could get part of the way there. The way towards totalitarianism and war was paved with the court decision to enable voter fraud. If the Congress won’t act to stop voter fraud now, the die will be cast. The fraudsters will counter with ‘save our Democracy” bravo sierra. Fraud will be THEIR King. The people's freedom will be the losers.

The “firebell” has sounded. Are the people too blinded to see, or too complacent to act decisively and in time? I shudder at what could be coming our way.

There are a lot of videos like this

7/1/26

Are things improving in Canuckistan? Not any time soon. Maybe not at all.

Am I being too mean to the poor darlings?

That's the trouble. They've lived the soft life for so long, they don't know what real hardship is. Their "leaders" won't help them do anything but go straight down the drain.

Maybe Alberta will save themselves, but I wouldn't bet money on it.

7/31/25; the original post follows:

One thing is certain, Canada has a problem. It's likely to get worse.

The video was taken down. Too bad. So sad. Nobody is losing money here. If they're losing money, it's because of their own mistakes.

Sixteen Tons Tennessee Ernie Ford, Andy Williams and Annette Funicello

Do all these belong together? This is like wearing a red sock and a blue sock. Or wearing three socks. But where does that third sock go? Uh, oh...

The Warm Embrace of Communism

Reaction to the Powerline article titled "Socialism Kills"

Summary:

Bill Glahn discusses the Venezuelan catastrophic earthquake damage, and points out that the Mamdami's much admired "warm embrace" of communism certainly didn't help the Venezuelan people weather this earthquake very well.

Comment:

Supposedly, the polls say that the younger generation favors socialism. Maybe they ought to try seeing these places up close and personal before deciding that jumping into bed with these monsters is a good idea.

Just to be clear, I don't believe these polls anymore. The reason is that polls can be screwed with, just like just about anything else.

Not only can polls be tampered with in the usual manner, but if someone has a bad attack of integrity, they can be "persuaded" to change their minds to the "correct" opinion. These are communist tactics. Of course, we're not supposed to say that these days. But I'll write it here every chance I get.

Eventually, if I become troublesome enough, they may come after me.

Hopefully I'll be strong enough to withstand their tactics. If so, they may resort to more drastic measures. Like they did in Arkansas.

We have a very gullible population. They'll fall for anything. Of course, when they don't, they can always be persuaded with an iron fist. That is something Iran's citizens found out when they became too troublesome.

The "warm embrace" may be the blood oozing from the wound just delivered to remind you to mind your tongue.

The young may be forgiven because they don't know any better. Women might be forgiven because they are the weaker sex. But if you are a man, what is your excuse?

Many of them are deciding that they are female.

The Stupidity Limit

This should be a clean version of the post. It was edited by AI. Imagine that. That is, everything past this sentence has been vetted.

A brief excursion into the news today suggests that the SCOTUS decisions may not be as bad as I thought.

   But is this wishful thinking?

Let us assume that it is. That is a fair assumption. Generally speaking, if it seems bad, it’s probably much worse.

Consequently, I won’t be making the mistake of letting my guard down just because somebody says that there’s a silver lining in this somewhere.

Always striving to remember to never underestimate the power of stupidity.

Unfortunately, to do stupid things may be more common and much easier than you can possibly imagine.

Dan Bongino's last show before his vacay

He goes after Democrats. That's fine with me. He won't go after the RINOS. Not sure about the wisdom of not going after them. They may as well be Democrats.

Bongino talks about the need for GUTS. That's something everybody needs to hear right now. After that SCOTUS' ridiculous decision about mail-in ballots, we could be in trouble. LOTS OF TROUBLE.

If the left was in that position, they'd fight back. But being that the SCOTUS just screwed us all over so badly that it is a major catastrophe, I'd say some folks had better gear themselves up, because this may get rough.

We still need the RINOS, but we don't need their disloyalty. But what about the commies (Dems)? He's got some good shots against the commies. But the RINOS would rather fight US. Anyway, worth the time to watch it.

Old man time just keeps marching along

7/1/26:

This looks like the period of the low ebb. Not many posts back then, and things were looking rather bad.

There has been an uptick lately. Will it hold? Or will it be back to the dumpster?

Feb 20, 2022: The original post follows:

If you're not careful, time can get away from you. It sure seems to happen a lot lately around here. Here it is, nearly noon, and I haven't done " a bloody thing all day". ( From the song "Uncle Albert")

I thought I'd do a post, but I haven't a bloody thought in my mind. Or one that seems worthy of a post.

Yes, things are happening. I wonder about all that, too. How is it that we seem to win the battles ( so to speak ), but end up losing the war? How is that? To me, the political left is completely defenseless, but there they are. How is that?

We are living in a computer simulation known in the movies as "The Matrix". No way they can win this, but, but, but... where's that red pill?

Get back to what is real. The is nothing more real than death. When that happens, it really is over. You all know that's true. If you risk it all, including death, then it is real. Otherwise, it is all baloney.

In the end, the thing that is real is what wins. If we are "winning the battles", then we're not really. That means it isn't real enough. Either we aren't there, or they aren't. ( Maybe both, but somebody doesn't know it yet.)

Time to get real if you're ever going to. Know what I mean, Vern?

Is living off the Grid now a crime?

7/1/26:

Folks may not believe this, but it is true. I know I've read it somewhere. Sorry for not having a link to prove it. Not that some people actually care about the proof.

The idea is to make all people into a beaten down group of dependent non-entities. A non-entity type person has no mind of his own. A non-entity type person doesn't think for himself. A non-entity type person wouldn't even dream of ever doing something like standing on their own two feet, and actually doing something really radical, like disagreeing with the powers-that-be. Oh, no. Just can't have that, no.

According to the commies, we can only "save" our so-called democracy by bending our knee to the powers-that-be. But the modern left won't bend their knees. That's right, they won't. Which means you might have to do something very unpleasant like kicking their rotten asses when they get out of line. It's not if, but when they get out of line. Cuz they're rotten.

So what happened to the "nega watt" concept?   Seems to me that in the "greenest" state in the union that to live off your land would be a "greener" thing.  After all, they're not the ones contributing to pollution.  What's the deal?

The Biggest Problem Americans Face - by Robert Ringer

6/30/26:

Ringer's article reads a lot like the book I wrote about before---it was about the Russian KGB. Those in the party get the goodies. Everybody else lives in poverty. That's what Ringer was writing about. That's what that book mentions often. It's a rotten system.  Ringer's son decided to become a "checka".  The checkists were a feared bunch of folks in the KGB.

The solution? Somehow you have to explain it to people in the way that Einstein once mentioned. Einstein says if you cannot explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.

Does anybody understand the problem? No, this way we're following isn't good enough. Because it isn't getting through to the folks who need to hear it. If people understand, they won't choose to suffer. If people understand, they can be persuaded to oppose the loss of their freedom. The Soviet Union collapsed along with that tyranny. The new evil empire in DC can also be collapsed, and a new tyranny does not have to rise in the place of the old.

But not if we don't understand the problem. Know your enemy and know yourself, sez Sun Tsu in the Art of War. One thing is the use of the enemies' premises. "Our" side does this all the friggin' time. As Reagan once said, it ain't about the right v the left. It is about freedom and tyranny.

Maybe a six year old can understand that. If you tie somebody up, they have no freedom. That's what communism does. It ties people up.

7/24/17:

The Biggest Problem Americans Face - by Robert Ringer: The other day, one of my son’s friends, who was home from college for the summer, stopped in to say hello. We chatted briefly, and I asked him if he was still planning on becoming an entrepreneur/businessman after he graduated from school next spring. To my surprise, he said that because of the uncertainties in …

comment:

The biggest problem, says Ringer, is that there are too many on the GOP side that would go commie if that is what it took to be successful.    Remember what Little Jebbie said:  "we should learn from the Dems", he said.  If you are going to be a Dem, then join the bastards.  Otherwise, STFU.

The trouble as I see it, is that people will arm themselves, but do they know what that means?  It doesn't mean that if the Dems pass gun control, that you give them up.  It means as they said during the Texas Revolution "come and take it".

Also, get back to the land.  People are too dependent upon money.  Let the land feed you.  I wish I had come to this understanding at a much younger age.   Chasing money is what is killing this civilization.  They can always control you with money.

The silly season is upon us

6/30/26:

Here's where the Chief Executive earns his paycheck. An good executive can find solutions to problems. If he cannot, then he won't be a successful executive. How do I know this? I read it in a book. lol

Seriously, there HAS to a solution that the GOP can live with. Trump has to sell it to the Congress-critters, and they need to get it enacted. So here's a suggestion. Forget about casting votes on the same day. Instead, set a date in which all counting must commence. It will be much harder to do some hanky panky about "finding votes" after it is certified that there will be no more votes accepted.

The trouble comes when the cheaters see that they need more votes, and manufacture them out of thin air. When all the votes are in, THEN count them. AND NO SOONER. The vote cans must be sealed so that they cannot peek. Know what I mean, Vern?

6/29/26, 8:00 PM:

The SCOTUS has screwed us with this mail-in ballot decision. It should be obvious as one's nose upon one's face that this is pure fraud. What gives with these people? How did they get so dumb? Were they born that way, or did it take a lot of practice?

6:23 AM:

Maybe the firebell reference was a bit over the top? Another question is if the silly season is now a permanent feature of American society?

There's just not enough time to deal with these questions right now.

So I do the reaction posts. This is a reaction to a previous post that somebody may have clicked upon recently.

I read thru the original posts, and add anything other thoughts that may be new. Things seem to be getting nuttier and nuttier, and yours truly wonders if he is a part of that nuttiness. Trying not to be!

2/27/24: The original post follows below:

Each election cycle seems to get crazier than the last. It is evidence of something, and it may not be good. There is already some troubling rumblings out there. If true, this may be the last election held in this country as we know have known it.

It has been called the silly season in past cycles, because it seemed rather harmless. However, these latest developments are like what Thomas Jefferson described as a "firebell in the night". Jefferson was referring to the sectional controversy that existed prior to the Civil War. This situation isn't exactly like that one, but the differences are stark, and the stakes are high.

A presidential election preceded the last Civil War. This Civil War, if it comes, may well come down to the results of a presidential election. If so, who will be most responsible for the breakup of the Union? What will be the issues that are being fought over?

Some might say personalities. But it isn't about Trump's personality at all. The personality aspect is part of the rampant dishonesty that is part of the silly season. It isn't about Biden's mental faculties either, despite the fact that he really has some issues there. So what is the real issue here?

We'll be lucky if that question gets asked. The silly season is rampant with phony issues. It's like what the late Herb Cohen once said: "Once you get past the phony tinsel, you get to the real tinsel." We'll have trouble getting past the phony tinsel part the way we're going. More Russian collusion. Please spare me the nonsense.

There is no honesty and integrity out there. On that count, I'd say Trump has it all over Biden. The Democrats are hell bent on gaining and keeping power. There is no such thing as a loyal opposition for these people. If there was respect for a loyal opposition, would the Democrats be trying to destroy Trump? None of their accusations are made in good faith based upon something real. The Democrats are conjuring up a monster, while ignoring their own monstrous behavior. The persecution of this man is unreal. All he did was to beat them at an election. For this, he has committed the greatest "crime" ever committed. What kind of mentality could think that way? Not one that has been the long time tradition of this country, which included the freedom to disagree.

But if they really respected the institutions, such as the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, would they treat the opposition so shabbily? The founding documents allow for a loyal opposition. There's something terribly wrong when it becomes a crime to disagree with the powers-that-be. It is downright un-American. That is, it would have been said to be so at one time in the past, but not so much now. The country has lost its sense of self.

Make America great again? I'd settle for making America its true self again. The greatness came from that. The spirit that made this country great is on trial now. The outcome of that trial is in doubt. There's nothing silly about that one. If you are inclined to pray, then this country needs one right now. Perhaps it is too late for that. Better to do it anyway with all the humility and sincerity that you can muster. That is, if you care enough to be concerned about it.

Old food pyramid is not for our own good... It is there to cause harm...

"Not an accident." I do get the sense of malevolence being directed against the entire culture. Of course, anybody with a brain should understand what I'm referring to. I've BEEN referring to it, and in other ways than this topic. Good to see that this malevolence is not going unnoticed. But is it too late? Too much damage already?

Flying monkey circus

6/28/26:

The worst part of all that nonsense back then was the Star Chamber quality of the proceedings. Basic respect for the truth would've allowed a closer and more honest look at what actually happened on January 6th 2021. Instead, the neo-Con Cheney wing of the GOP decided to join with the commies in the Democrat party, and try to turn the USA into a one-party totalitarian state.

We came very close to that. Maybe it could still happen. Or perhaps folks are waking the hell up? No thanks to Cheney and Co. They won't be helping Trump now, either. If that succeeds in undermining Trump, the commie left may succeed after all.

7/27/21:

The first hearing of the Wicked Witch's brew of a Star Chamber will start today, if I am not mistaken.

Seems like Arch-Heretic Liz Cheney will lend her services to discredit anybody who interferes with "her holiness"-da witch. She claims to "get to the bottom" of the Jan. 6th affair, which people refer to with different descriptive names; such as Insurrection, Riot, or Attack.

I'll refer to it as an affair of tawdriness, most likely emanating from the rotten bunch on the commie side of the aisle. The entire charade is meant to cover up their guilt in causing the ruckus in the first place, or at least so I have long suspected.

There seems to be something of a threat to go after other GOP members. I smell another commie plot being unveiled. This is one of their best tools, to inspire fear amongst people. Too bad this latest stench is coming from someone who claims to support this country.

Cheney is helping Pelosi break the GOP, which probably does need some major repairs. But Cheney is one of the broken members that needs replacing. Those who are worth anything are likely to be subjected to the Wicked-Witch and her flying-monkey-recruits' attacks. It is all theater intended to help their sagging prospects in next year's mid-term elections.

The real drama here is if the GOP can repair itself and become a real opposition party. The other side of the drama is from the Wicked Witch' mad attempt at total and complete one party totalitarian rule. They are greedily licking their lips in anticipation of a kill.

Let's see if the GOP can decide what they will be when they grow up, or grow a spine.

Debacle

6/28/26:

If Trump was really a neo-Con, as some are accusing, then why didn't they come to his aid in 2020? Indeed, why did they work hard to get him out of office? The debacle in Afghanistan happened because the neo-Cons don't like Trump. Otherwise, as indicated in the post, Trump would've been able to successfully challenge the stolen election of 2020.

Instead, they continue to oppose Trump. But if it weren't for them, the Taliban wouldn't have succeeded in Afghanistan. Or, it wouldn't have been the debacle that it turned into.

The neo-Cons are fake conservatives. They align with Democrats. Which means that they prefer to fight conservatives, as opposed to helping conservatives WIN.

Aug 15, 2021:

There's no question that the fall of the US backed regime in Afghanistan is now officially a debacle. The White House is blaming Trump for this, but Trump didn't make these decisions for the last nearly 8 months.

These guys must be trying to relive the high that Bush got when 911 happened. At first they were saying "Bush let it happen". Once the approval numbers came out, and Bush was at 90% or thereabouts, they had to quiet down with that talk.

For the next nearly eight years, they subverted Bush so much that by the end of his presidency, his numbers had completely collapsed.

This stuff runs on politics. History didn't end when Bush left. But his work was at the mercy of others. Now Bush is going to have to pay the price for that. However, let's look more deeply into the chess board. Why did Biden act the way he did? He cannot credibly blame Trump for his own decisions. If he found fault with Trump's policy in Afghanistan, why didn't he change it? He had enough time. That was Biden's decision. He may be claiming that it was Trump's ideas, but if he was running the show himself, it was his own choices that led to this.

Biden and his handlers must believe that they can turn this to their advantage somehow. Otherwise, why do something that looks so bad? Even if he is able to shuffle some of the blame off on others, he still is accountable for what he did or didn't do himself. Trump has been gone for nearly 8 months now. You cannot blame him when he is not there.

The neo-cons come out of this badly, too. They've been undermining Trump all along. Trump was handling things just fine. Afghanistan wasn't in the hands of the Taliban when he left. If the neo-cons had been more helpful, Trump would still be there, and the Taliban would not have been. If Trump had been in the White House when this happened, then they could say that. But not now.

Nor can the neo-cons be happy about this. Unless the neo-cons really didn't care about keeping the Taliban out of power. But that is not how they have acted previously. It seemed like a pretty important deal to them at the time. So, in the light of this, are we to believe that Trump really caused this to happen, or was it Biden? Didn't Biden really double-cross the neo- cons?

And the neo-cons are going to have to join the commies so as to have the fallout not rain down upon themselves. That may "work" for them, but most people I would think, would see this for the total failure that it is. For that, the neo-cons deserve plenty of blame. They sided with the commies so as to get rid of Trump. Now they have egg on their faces, thanks to Biden. They might profit with their continuing support of this failure, or come to their senses and rejoin the sane world.

A solution for ObamaCare?

6/28/26:

Didn't the Democrats shut down the government over ObamaCare recently? Why, yes they sure did. It turns out that they were protecting fraudsters. Don't believe it? Watch this.

11/28/25:

I thought Dick Morris said that the ObamaCare thing could be handled? But this article seems to indicate no such proposition in the works. Just exactly what was that shutdown all about if they go right back to what the Dems wanted in the first place?

The bozos need to understand that there's no more time for nonsense. Fix the damned problems. Ah! One forgets that this is the GOP we're talking about. Or this link could be off-base, and that there really is a good solution. One has reason to be concerned, though.

11/18/25:

Dick Morris says that Biden and the Dems enacted a repeal of a anti-"soup-to-nuts" kind of coverage that was unnecessary and costly. The reversion back to the way Trump and the GOP had no soup-to-nuts coverage requirement prior to Biden and Co.--will cause premiums to come down. In other words, drop the soup-to-nutso stuff.

People are voting for Dems because of the cost of living? It was the Dems who caused the problems in the first place! If Morris is right, then the Dems sure did cause health care premiums to rise because they made soup-to-nutso coverage mandatory.

Not a smart way to use your head

6/27/26:

The story out there is that the Dems in Congress won't sign off on the pledge to stop acting like commies. What say you, James Carville?

Will this commie uber alles play in Peoria? Maybe not. We'll see.

6/26/26: 8:00 PM Update:

Memo to Carville: If you hang around dogs, you stand the chance of getting fleas. (Carville is complaining about the wack-a-doodle faction in the Democrat party. But all the Dems sing from the same hymn book as the wack-a-doodles, so how do you distinguish them from each other? Is it Israel?)

Update:

Is Carville a maniac, or just stupid? Perhaps both??? In any event, he is dangerous even if he is a moron.

6/6/26: The original post follows:

Ball bounces off outfielder's head, goes over the fence for a home-run.

Sounds like James Carville to me. Carville is endorsing a Nazi on the grounds that it will beat who they claim to be a Nazi---Trump.

My first inclination is to get mad at Carville. But the dude is going to keep the Nazi on the ballot, then let Carville run his crazy mouth.

Talarico can go there if he likes, but I'll pass on that one
