As always, it is not enough to just complain.

Don't wear you victimhood like a badge of honor. Seems to be the latest thing to do that. It is not very becoming to act helpless.

Braxman: "I solved the Phone Number Privacy Problem!"

Very interesting video. I've been going through this rigamarole with Big Tech a lot since my most recent move. Big Tech really, really doesn't like it when you move, and makes it painful as possible for you to move. Seems fishy to me.

Exclusive: Liz Cheney, January 6 Committee Suppressed Exonerating Evidence Of Trump’s Push For National Guard

January 6th Select Committee wasn't a fair and impartial search for the facts, but was instead another Star Chamber set up for Trump.  Speaker Pelosi refused to allow then Minority Leader McCarthy pick more impartial members for the committee, and decided upon Never-Trumpers Cheney and the other clown-face.  In any case, the Democrats had two years to convince the public that there was an insurrection, and that Trump was responsible for it. That failed, but it still doesn't stop Biden from using it for political advantage in his SOTU stump speechification.

Try harder

3/9/24:

An update is needed to clarify a point made in the section below on Texas' primary results. I edited the point and underlined it so it can be more easily referenced.

Quite a few legislators lost their seats, and several were forced into run-offs, included the Speaker of the Texas House. The Speaker may well lose the run-off, as an anti-tax candidate divided the vote. Since anti-taxers are more conservative in general, the Speaker is in trouble, I'd say.

A leader in the Anti-Paxton faction didn't run for re-election. A number of others didn't run. I'd say there was a lot of fall-out from the move to oust Paxton. It's too early to say at this point in my research, but I'd say that there was a stiff negative reaction to the Bushie faction that was behind the impeachment.

The article that says otherwise might be more than a little off, indeed.

the original post of 3/7/24 follows directly below:

The issues in this coming election need to be pushed a bit harder. Example: There was a vote on deporting illegal aliens who commit crimes, and it had a scandalously high number of Democrats who refused to vote for it. It's not going to be enough to point that out. There needs to be some pain being administered to those who refuse to honestly deal with issues such as these. The bill was named for someone who was killed by an illegal alien. Could a more appropriate name for the bill have been chosen? It should be a no-brainer that the kind of people who would do this should not be allowed to stay in this country. But it looks like the Democrats just don't care. Drawing attention to this may not be enough.

Perhaps the bill being named for someone nobody heard of was the problem? What people need to know should be in the name of the bill, and it needs to be brought to the public's attention again and again in order to showcase the Democrat's callous attitude towards those who fall victim to illegal aliens who commit crimes. It may not be politically correct to call them illegal aliens, but what's worse? Defending people who kill innocent people, or ruffling a few feathers of people who really need to feel some heat?

There seems to be a lot of just going through the motions. In Texas, more than half of those who voted to impeach Paxton won their primaries. Or was that more than half of the GOP legislators? Come to think of it, maybe that article was bit off. Of course the Democrats would vote for the impeachment, but what about Republicans? Anyway, I'm running with the thought. The Speaker was forced into a run-off, and one of the chief supporters of the impeachment did not run in this election. Perhaps the voters got a bit too lax, or was the article a bit misleading?

I could look it up, but my internet is limited for the time-being. Yep, excuses.

The idea for the post is that all these people who say we are on the wrong track need to get busy. It's not good enough to just complain. If there's good news, don't just rest on your laurels.

The overall impression given by these developments seems to show a population that is indifferent to things that just should not be. Has the public gotten that indifferent and callous? If so, then how do the Democrats get to play up events like school shootings?

The GOP could try tactics like that too, you know. But do they do that enough? The GOP cannot afford to lose this election. Perhaps we all should try just a bit harder.

It isn't all bad

"Nikki" Haley is out.  There is good news after all.  The insistence upon negativity  isn't really helpful nor inspiring.  Let the pinkos be miserable.  Time to be hearty in spirit.  Nothing succeeds like the aura of success.

Super Tuesday

Trump is winning rather decisively in deep red states. He may lose Vermont, which is a deep blue state. That should tell you something, but I don't suppose that the people who need to hear it, are listening.

Haley has no chance of getting the nomination except by trickery. Even if she gets it, she has little chance of winning the general. Even if she does THAT MUCH, she's still no victory for the conservative faction of the GOP. Hence, she will have very little real support there. Whatever she wins, it won't be too much different from what we are already getting from Biden.

She seems all too willing to say anything in order to get the nomination. For that reason, I'd say she is not trustworthy at all. She is already reneging on her promise to endorse the winner of the primaries. She won't endorse Trump. She claims to be willing to pardon Trump, but can that promise be believed? She'll say anything.

At this moment, after 10 PM Central time, she has only the support of the deep blue jurisdictions. California has not been counted yet. Who knows what happens there.

I'm taking the Rhett Butler route. Frankly my dears, I don't give a damn. I'm tired of the histrionics of the political left and their dupes who call themselves "moderates". It's a shell game. Which means the entire charade is designed to fool the public. Haley couldn't get elected dog catcher. The only way she ends up in power is by trickery and deceit. She'll be controlled by the Derp State even if she wins. The election process is one in which marred by an excess of corruption, which has infected the entire political process. We'll be lucky if anything honest emerges from this. Indeed, it would be a miracle.

The Establishment Shell Game

This is primary season, and today is what is called "Super Tuesday". If you bothered to notice, the Democrats won't allow an actual primary challenge to their "boy", Joe Biden. So they ran off RFK, Jr. They probably gave Manchin an offer he couldn't refuse, so he wouldn't run against Biden either. While doing this, they fret that old Joe hasn't got it anymore. In the meantime, they want to run as the party that will save Democracy against the Trump faction of the GOP. It's not about Democracy. It's a shell game.

A shell game is a game in which the truth of the situation is being obfuscated in order to trick somebody into thinking the shell isn't where it truly is. With the Democrats, their voters will do whatever they are told to do. There is no Democracy there, for if there was, there would be open, free, and fair elections during this primary season. But that is being prevented, and they claim Democracy. What a bunch of hooey. What the Democrats will end up doing is pretending to hold primaries, while having their voters cross over to vote in the GOP primaries. Once that process is over, they'll switch the nominee(s) (both parties) over to a more "promising" candidate. Some "Democracy", huh?

While doing all this, they'll try to influence the outcome of the GOP primaries. Obviously, they want a candidate more to their liking, which would be "Nikki" Haley ( or whatever her real name is ). So their shell game crosses the aisle, so to speak. Consequently, the idea is to prevent any true two party competition for the vote. More "Democracy" for you. The real target is their own candidates, as they are presented, even though this bears little resemblance to the will of the people. For if it did, Donald Trump would already be the nominee, as Haley would have dropped out. All she can win are the blue states. Biden probably wouldn't survive an honest primary challenge.

The blue states are blue because they are safe Democrat seats. What good is it for a GOP candidate to win blue states then? If you cannot hold your own state, like Haley couldn't, then what hope for victory do you really have? Do they honestly believe that they can win elections like that? The blue state voters will not show up for Haley. Not to mention the fact that the base of the GOP won't show up for the likes of Haley. Who's going to vote for her?

But winning isn't the never-Trumper style. Even when the GOP wins, it refuses to do anything with their victories. This is clear in how they acted after the 2016 Trump victory. The GOP owned both houses of Congress, and the Presidency. Instead of actually governing, they pretty much ceded it all to the Democrats. When the Establishment cannot win, they'll take their ball and go home.

By 2020, they couldn't turn the Trump voters against him, so they connived with the Democrats in producing a fraudulent election outcome. Then when Trump wouldn't go away, the Uniparty Establishent managed a fraudulent "insurrection". Now they are attempting more of the same kind of old tricks until the get their way. Eventually, there will be a moment of truth, when they make their play. More than likely, there will be an open coup against the wishes of the public. For this is no Democracy. It is a pretend Democracy. If the voters wishes were respected, the primary season would be handled differently. They are hoping that the public will be fooled, or too indifferent to fight back against the usurpation that is taking place.

The primary season is the one way the voters will can be demonstrated. Yet once again, the Establishment is showing their contempt for the voter, and will impose their true choices upon the public. The voters have no real choice, because the voters keep voting for what the Establishment says to vote for. That's especially true on the Democrat side. There's the same sentiment within the GOP, which the GOP Uniparty Establishment wing attempts to nuture. If (or when) that happens, Trump will be cast aside, and Haley will be annoited the candidate even though nobody really wants her, save the Establishment. That's the shell game.

The true object of the Establishment is hidden until it doesn't matter anymore. The big reveal will take place after the primaries. Then they'll have the effrontery to tell us that they are saving Democracy. The shell game is a hoax and a swindle.

Biden's misadventures in the swamp

Influence peddling scandal news.

Maybe there will be accountability, but I won't hold my breath.

ICYMI. Haley wins something

Nikki Haley wins swamp vote in DC.

What a joke.

Like Wtf , man

If you are a Jew, why put up with this?

Maybe Jews would understand. But I don't.

Stupor Tuesday coming up

The trouble with this political class is that it has an identity problem. Maybe they don't know which bathroom to use, or some such. Nikki Haley doesn't know which party she is in. The Democrats she seeks as voters don't know what party they are in either. There may be more votes for Nikki Haley ( or whatever her real name is) than there are for Corn Pop. As for Corn Pop, he doesn't know what state he is in. All the Democrats have to do is to nominate Haley as their standard bearer, and their troubles are over!

Haley is young enough. But she is one confused lass herself. Maybe someone should ask her pronouns, and see if she knows if she's a she or a he. ( or whatever ) To me, she seems to be a "tee hee", because she's something of a joke.

So there's this identity crisis amongst Americans these days. Too many don't know where they are, or who they are.

In that case, there is the GOP, which doesn't appear to be much better off. In fact, they seem worse. Here's a slam dunk of an opportunity to smoke the donkey's asses, but they seem more content with beating themselves than in beating the dead horse (or donkey). The nominee is set, but they don't support him truthfully. You have to drag them kicking and screaming back into defending their "principles" that they claim to care about so much. Or do they really have any principles at all? Perhaps they should use Alice Cooper's "School's Out" as their theme song. Something's is out for lunch, that's for sure.

This should be easy, but it is going to be a real contest of the blind leading the blind.

America is stumbling into this Tuesday, and the hope is some clarity emerges from the confusion. At the moment, it doesn't look promising, but I am always hopeful. Miracles do happen from time to time. America might finally wake up from the leftist nightmare.

The identity crisis is real. Will the real America please stand up? Or is that asking too much?

The crisis ahead

Difficulties may represent opportunities in disguise. Therefore, one must accept them, and work to overcome them. Such is the case now since my move. Adjustments must be made. One of them is to adjust my routine for making posts for this blog. Instead of casting about the web for news to comment upon, I am left merely with my thoughts. Why not make posts of these instead?

For my access to the internet is now limited. That is, until I can find a better internet access, this situation must be adjusted so that I can continue posting. I'll run out of data all too soon, otherwise. I must limit my internet usage as a consequence, and cannot surf the web so much. Maybe that is not so bad, as mentioned.

Thus, I segue into the next point on my mind, which is the idea of "limited resources". This is a short-sighted mindset, not to mention, a false idea. However, it is a popular one, in which the political class has nutured and exploited to ill effect. I feel the need to expound upon why I am so deeply skeptical of this notion of limited resources, and far more hopeful about a future if only people would adjust their thinking. Resources are not limited. Why not? That's because resources don't actually get used up. Resources only change form. It is not economical, at present, to reconstitute these resources because of the scarcity of energy. With an abundance of energy, all resources can be reused again and again.

Consequently the truth, there is no such scarcity. There is only the scarcity of imagination and will to overcome these obstacles, and perversely mislead others that it cannot be overcome without great suffering and deprivation. But such suffering is not necessary unless there were a true shortage of resources. Such a shortage does not exist because the abundance of energy is available to us provided that we have the will to develop such resources. Such a will does not exist at present, and therefore it is likely that some suffering will occur because of that. That is a pity, for it is entirely unnecessary.

Where would the abundant energy come from? As mentioned many times before on this blog, molten-salt reactors were proven feasible over 50 years ago. However, these were not developed. Why not?

For the reasons given above. Polticians have nutured and exploited this notion of energy scarcity for all these years. They have thrown up barriers against the development of this energy source for all these decades, while preaching this false doctrine of limited resources. Now we are on the verge of another energy shortage, I suspect. Prices will rise again, as the lack of energy will entail the same limits to growth that these politician seek. The politicians seek these conditions in order to empower themselves. This not about serving the public, but enslaving the public using this false doctrine of limited growth due to limited resources.

But why would they do this? The question should be, why would they not? These same politicians have contrived a way to avoid any accountability for their malfeasance. They have befuddled the people, who are contantly misled into believing that the problems we face are being met with their goodwill, but that is not so. The problems we face are being met with ill will, for the politicians seek to exploit these conditions for their own benefit. This benefit occurs at the expense of others. Suffering must be the result.

There is so much claim at the perils of democracy these days. But if the politicians really cared about democracy, then why do they so often seek to avoid accountability? For the longest time, public opinion polls have said that America is on the wrong track. Yet they are re-elected again and again. How is this possible? It can only be possible because they have managed to befuddle the issues so much that accountability is almost impossible to determine.

It is not a partisan issue. The political class is the one constant in all of this. Why then should they avoid accountability unless the public allows it? But the public does allow it. This has to change if the problem is to be solved. As Einstein once said, the mind that created the problem cannot be the mind that solves it. Those who are creating this problem need to be defeated at the polls. If anybody really cared about Democracy, that can be the only solution that could be considered feasible. For the political class has failed us repeatedly. Change must come from a change in leadership. Yet the ones in power insist on continuing their hold on power. This is why there is no accountability.

The polls show a competitive race between the presumptive candidates for President of the United States. With such a consistent negative view of the track of the country, how can this President be returned to office for another term? But there he is. Something has to give, and it will. Hopefully, it will be the right thing. But there are no guarantees of that happening.

The oppotunities cut both ways. Either the enemies win, or they don't. It's up to a mostly disinterested and misled public to sort through the fog of contention to get to the other side, which we all hope to be a better day. We could end up in a worse state, as opposed to a better one. Therefore, a better solution would seem to be to correct the obvious things in front of us. Adoption of better ways of solving energy problems could be a start. For we wouldn't have this problem if we were properly led. Instead of proper leadership, we are being misled about this scarcity that need not be.
