What's with Kamala Harris, anyway?
She had an "interview" that took up an hour on TV. When it was completed, she actually talked for 16 minutes. She actually talked a lot longer, but they cut it out of the taped production. It wasn't live, it was taped and edited.
This is very, very thin coverage. After all the complaints about her not giving interviews, and this is all she has to say?
Secondly, she makes the most inexplicable types of mental errors. An example is forgetting what the name of the Supreme Court was. Some folks say she may have a type of schizophrenia there. Part of the symptoms for this is inappropriate laughing. She may not be able to focus on the subject matter at hand. She gets silly.
So there must be something there that they know about, and they are trying their best to hide it.
They kept Joe Biden in the basement for 2020 and it worked for them ( supposedly). This is looking a lot like that. They've got a very flawed candidate, but they don't seem to care unless it gets exposed, the way Biden got exposed.
So their strategy is to lay low for the next few months and cheat their way to victory again.
If the GOP lets that happen, which is very possible, I'm going to think that this really is rigged. On BOTH sides of the aisle.
Making an issue out of abortion when we got the Supreme Court decision in Dobbs is really ridiculous. There was an accusation that Trump is trying to lose because he won't sign an national abortion bill. What the F**k? After all this time, you've gotten this much limitation on abortion, and you want to risk that with this phony carping about a national abortion bill???? Keep in mind that not all of the GOP is with Trump. There's a lot of carping about Trump, but it is as fake as Kamala Harris is.
The only way she can win is if it is rigged, or if the people are too stupid for their own good. I'm more likely to believe the former rather than the latter. The people aren't too stupid, or they wouldn't have to hide a deeply flawed candidate. So they can win with a super dishonest election. It's the only way they can win.

She can get away with saying that she never reversed herself because she really isn't saying anything NOW. She is letting others say it for her that she never says herself. Later she can say that she never changed her mind. You get the crazy stuff and not the stuff that she pretends to support today.

This blog isn't about getting pageviews
That almost sounds ridiculous. If you aren't after pageviews, then what's the point?
Awhile back, I alluded to why I seem to be doing this blog, even though there's no payoff. But there's got to be a payoff, right?
I'd be a liar if I were to say that fame and fortune doesn't matter to me. It's like somebody saying they don't do it for the money, but if a lot of money became available, would they turn it down? No.
But that doesn't mean I'd sell out for money. Only that I'd take fame and fortune if that was my portion. If it is not to be, then what other reason would there be to do this?
I would really like things to be going well when I pass to the hereafter. It isn't good to leave things worse than you found them. However, there is a limited amount that any one person can do.
So I'm just trying to say what's on my mind, and have the hope that it might register somewhere. If it doesn't, then I don't have to feel badly about not trying. I can truthfully say that I tried. And besides, it DOES matter for me. I do mean it.

In 1980, I was considerably younger. I only mention that because of my age. I was old enough to vote back then, so there. That'll date me.
Anyway, the thing I recall most vividly about that election was the fact that it was over almost as soon as they started counting the votes.
It was over so fast that Jimmy Carter conceded even before the polls closed in the Western Time Zones. This was harmful to the Democrats who were down the ballot in those areas. Carter was criticized severely for it. He cost them some races.
What made it so memorable was that it was supposed to be close. That it wasn't close was a BIG SURPRISE to me. I think it is one of the many things I learned about the media over the years. You cannot trust what they say. If it was so close, then why was it over so fast? Obviously, the media was wrong. The polls were wrong.
By the way, as I have mentioned before, I didn't even vote for Reagan.
The media these days are far more open about their partisanship. So if they trot out polls claiming this or that about anything, I take it all with a grain of salt.

So the Dems need an issue, so it is a national abortion ban. This would have to be a law passed by Congress. I don't think a second Trump administration could decree it.
