Quote attributed to Lenin from the book "KGB"

Ask yourselves if this is in any way familiar to what you've been hearing these past several years :

"The communists must be prepared to make every sacrifice and, if necessary, even resort to all kinds of cunning, schemes, and strategems to employ illegal methods, to evade and conceal the truth..." p. 224

There was a lot more in that quote that is even worse. That is, it is worse if you have any decency. If you aren't appalled by that quote, you just might be one of them. If you admire that quote, then the probabilty goes even higher--perhaps to near certainty.

I think that there are a lot of people who are living that quote. People in high places.

Any offers for this book?

It is a paperback which was purchased second hand in Houston in the mid to late 70's.

It's in fair condition.  Not like new, but readable.

Camel's nose under the tent

Wikipedia: a metaphor for a situation in which the permitting of a small, seemingly innocuous act which opens the door to larger undesirable acts.

This phrase came to mind with a number of observations and recollections of observations of events.

An example of this is when a Biden Administration figure said it was their business to see if people were vaccinated or not. He justified it on the basis of government expenditures. So, let's see how this is like the camel's nose. It's the mere wearing of masks and lockdowns leading to an overpowering state invasion into the private sphere. Going door-to-door to make you get a jab which you may not want nor trust seems a bit like that camel in the tent.

But the mask-wearing and lockdowns led to this and other things. The lockdowns led to business closures which led to unemployment, which led to massive government spending. The massive government spending is what is justifying the door-to-door enforcement of government edicts. So, the innocuous seeming mask-wearing is the camel's nose. The camel is now in the tent and won't leave. Hence the expression.

That is but one example in the news. Another is the Weissman's suggestion that Tucker Carlson was somehow un-American for exposing the NSA spying upon him. The camel's nose in the tent happened when it happened to President Trump in 2017. Remember how Susan Rice "unmasked" a lot of Trump's associates? This seemed innocuous ( to some ) because Trump was under suspicion at that time, but we found out later that Trump did NOT collude, and that the accusations were baseless. However, the unmasking has now spread to people who merely criticize a government agency.

The mere criticism of an agency is not un-American. It is not illegal. What IS illegal is unmasking of American citizens, period. Even those suspected of doing something wrong have rights. We all have a right to not be treated as violators of some law unless convicted first in an open courtroom by a jury of one's peers. That's the Constitution. That's the Bill of Rights. That's is what used to be considered American. It is being trampled upon by this camel in the tent that seemed pretty harmless at first. It was OUR tent and now it is the "camel's" tent.

It is a slow process over a long period of time. It has been called "creeping socialism", and that was probably marginalized as alarmist in the past, but the camel is getting pretty big TODAY.

The government has gone way too far. It is violating our trust. It may seem harmless to some, but it is leading to more and more egregious violations of rights that were once considered inviolate.

To stop the Sovietization of America, you'll need unexpected allies

If my suspicions are correct, then we are surely headed down the road towards a totalitarian, dystopic future. It could be patterned after the old Soviet Union, with its reliance upon its Sword and Shield, aka--- KGB.

I still have that book I mentioned. In the opening pages, it says that Lenin knew that his revolution had no popular support. In order to perpetuate Communism, it was necessary to create a system of government terror that kept the people in line.

It was no accident that the KGB was the way it was. In fact, it was absolutely necessary. There was no support for the regime. The only way to stay in power was through brute force.

To contrast that with America, which has traditionally relied upon the "consent of the governed", there is no need for brute force to keep the government in power. At least in theory. If it were to be demonstrated that the government only exists by way of fraud, then they would have to resort to Soviet methods in order to keep themselves in power. If that becomes common knowledge, the pretense of "rule of law" and "democracy" will be seen as fraudulent too.

Soviet methods could mean mass terror campaigns. If there is enough of the political violence going forward, it may convince enough of the public that there is a problem. But not if there isn't enough people on the other side who can be convinced of the dangerous path we are going down.

Let's put it this way. Those on the conservative side are going to have to convince those who are ideologically opposed to join the resistance against the fraud.

The idea is to force those in power to resort to stronger and stronger repressive methods until it becomes clear even to the most zealous of their supporters that they don't want to take it any further.

As of this writing, an effort to derail the Pennsylvania audit is in the works. No honest government would feel the need to do this. If Biden won honestly, what would the audit show but that very fact?  If they wanted to cement their legitimacy, all they would have to do is let them audit and prove for them what they have claimed all along---that Biden won. But if Biden knows he didn't win, then he has something to worry about.

If enough Democrats can see that, then maybe something good can result from it. Otherwise, the country is doomed to being Sovietized. Even Democrats cannot want that. They can only deny that it is happening right under their noses. Enough of that kind of thing will only bring the day that it can no longer be denied, and then it will be too late.

Does the truth matter any more? Maybe we are about to find out.

4th Branch of government is like KGB

Risking sanctions because of a "back channel" negotiation ploy

Techno-Fog link via CTH

Owners of Alfa Bank are suing Fusion GPS and Glenn Simpson for publication of false statements about them.

Alfa Bank was mentioned in the now infamous and "bogus" Steele Dossier, which claimed that Trump was colluding with the Russians during the 2016 Presidential Election.

Keep in mind that this was used to secure FISA warrants against Carter Page, which was a fraudulent abuse in itself. Page in turn, was falsely accused of being a Russian spy by one Kevin Clinesmith, who was charged with falsifying information on the document given to the court for procuring the warrant. For a serious violation such as that Clinesmith received only a "slap on the wrist".

So Fusion GPS has something that they don't want to become public. They are going to extraordinary lengths to do that.

They are interfering with court discovery, which would uncover documents that Fusion GPS doesn't want anyone to see.

Evidently Fusion GPS wants to settle. Why would they want to do that???

The Techno-Fog article is linked from Conservative Treehouse (CTH). Sundance is outlining how there is now a FOURTH BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT that was set up during the Obama years. This would be the Intelligence Community. Fusion GPS is part of that.

The New Haters

This business about being against hate only goes one way. For example, you can't hate colored folks. But it is okay to hate whitey. You cannot hate homos, but you can hate straights. You cannot hate Mohammedens, but you can hate Christians. And so on.

The Wicked Witch of the West Coast says she doesn't hate anyone. But her actions speak louder than her words. That's why a reporter asked if she hated Trump. She hasn't gone all out on the hate yet, but at least she pays lip service to being against it. Or is it just another way to LIE?

The Democrats don't hate lies, but they sure like to claim to hate when other people do. Kind of like what Fat Bastard said in one of the Austin Powers movies--"Everyone likes their own brand". He was wafting his own stench towards his nose when he said this. Yep, the Democrats like their own brand, but hate everybody else's.

They were okay will Bill Clinton's lies. They said "everybody does it". But let anybody say something they don't like, they claim to hate "lies". It is not so much that they are for the truth, but they are against whatever they don't like. If lying is about what they like, which are lies themselves, then they've got nothing against it. They don't hate lies per se, they just hate what they claim is your lies. Actually, it is those who aren't like them as the ones they hate.

It's kinda like Animal Farm too, which says everybody's equal, but some are more equal than others. Hating isn't so bad for the Democrats, they just think you cannot hate THEM. Even if they are evil as sin. Their hate is more equal than yours.

If hating is bad per se, then why don't they practice what they preach?

Tribalist Marxists are just troublemakers

Marxism cannot exist without trouble. If there isn't any, they'll just stir it up.

At the heart of Marxism is class conflict. Tribalism is just another word for "class". It's always an us-vs.-them project with the Marxists. Hence, they are always raising hell with everybody and everything that's not "us".

A Marxist might just take the opposite view of anything under the sun so that they can make trouble. Recall the veep Horizontal Harris' refusal to get a jab when it was one of Trump's projects. Once Horizontal Harris got into power, it wasn't Trump's anymore, it was "hers". Now the Marxists want to push it all on the rest of society-typical Marxist crap.

As for me, I have been consistently against it. It is experimental. It isn't an us-vs-them project for me. I won't take the jab because it messes with your DNA. It isn't a "vaccine", it is gene-therapy. Gene-therapy for what? Have they ever proved COVID's existence? Based upon what Rappoport says, the CDC admits that they never really even isolated the alleged virus. Also, influenza disappeared. How did that happen? Maybe it didn't. Maybe it is just another version of the usual influenza that is being rebranded for the usual Marxist troublemaking.

But the Marxists insist upon your compliance. They aren't interested in the merits of the proposed subject, just the opportunity to raise hell with the rest of us.

If you oppose them, it just seems to stimulate their fighting instincts. But you cannot give in to them, because that only gratifies them. They'll be pissed, but they are always pissed anyway. If you aren't pissed, you aren't a good Marxist.

It's a recipe for constant societal warfare. Just what Marxism is all about.

That's in contrast with the usual mindset of people. They just want to go about their business, and be left alone. They want to produce and create. This just pisses the Marxists off all the more, because they know deep inside that they aren't worth a damn. It gives them purpose to go about raising hell with everybody because it makes them feel worthwhile.

The price of liberty is truly eternal vigilance against these troublemakers. The problem is that most people would just as soon give in.

Going nuts again

There could be agents knocking on doors in order to get you to get the jab.

It was also suggested that there could be new lockdowns.

Will be people comply with this yet again?  The nuts running things are starting to talk that way, so we'll see.

American Gulag

Tyranny is here now

Fundraising for January 6th protesters being strongly discouraged.

It isn't enough for them to hold prisoners without bail, they are doing their best to totally destroy these people.

As Julie Kelly noted, most of these people don't have money. A criminal charge brought against them leaves them little choice but to take what's available. Unfortunately for them, the only thing that they can get is a public defender, who is on the government payroll.

So, the obvious thing is to ask for some outside help. It looks as if this has been totally squelched as well. Aside from this Newsweek article, there doesn't appear to be much information available out there. Out of sight, out of mind. Nobody hears about them, nobody seems to care. But would that be the case if lots more people heard about it?

These people are being held in defiance of the law. It is a lot easier for the government to do these kinds of things if nobody knows about it.

This is also intimidating thing, because if you report it, somebody could have you cancelled as well.

Maybe that is why nobody on the conservative side, save a few, are saying much about this.

You'd think we could all agree as Americans that these people have rights. That means all of their rights. Even if they are guilty as sin, they still have rights. If the government can squash them, they can squash anybody, anywhere, anytime. Think about it.

Legal Defense Fundraising

Since the commies are so good at legal defense funds, why not go for it, for those in the Loyal Opposition?

Not much follow through though on the January 6th story. Here are a few links on the subject: Julie Kelly on Mark Levin. This one shows the need for a Legal Defense Fund.

Also on Mark Levin's show, there was a short bit about the comparsions between events in the past v. January 6th to give context: Mark Levin on January 6th

Did we all lose our Bill of Rights?

The left is really good at making a claimed injustice towards one as an injustice towards all. An example could be the way that Trump talked about Rosie O'Donnell. Seems like it became an injustice towards all women, or so it was claimed. Another was cited by a commenter on this blog with regards to a Latino judge. Trump criticized him and suddenly it was an attack on all Latinos.

Contrast that with the way the January 6th protesters are being treated. If this isn't an attack on all the Loyal Opposition, then what is it? Did we lose our rights to a redress of grievances? If anybody did do anything provably wrong, well it cannot be defended. But just showing up and taking selfies inside the Capitol Building does not seem like a heinous act.

The Democrats and their Quisling collaborators are going to get their Star Chamber, but we should demand better than that. After all, if they can do this to these folks, they could do it to any of us anytime they want.

We do have power to oppose this, but we have to act together. The trouble with so-called conservatives is that we mind our own business too much than what is good for us. We need to get involved in this. These folks are languishing in the dungeon in DC, and all they have is a court-appointed public defender, who is likely to be on the Big Government payroll. What do you think the quality of that represenatation is going to be?

You rights may only go as far as you are willing to defend them. If these lose their rights, then why should any of us in the Loyal Opposition expect to get any better?
