To stop the Sovietization of America, you'll need unexpected allies

If my suspicions are correct, then we are surely headed down the road towards a totalitarian, dystopic future. It could be patterned after the old Soviet Union, with its reliance upon its Sword and Shield, aka--- KGB.

I still have that book I mentioned. In the opening pages, it says that Lenin knew that his revolution had no popular support. In order to perpetuate Communism, it was necessary to create a system of government terror that kept the people in line.

It was no accident that the KGB was the way it was. In fact, it was absolutely necessary. There was no support for the regime. The only way to stay in power was through brute force.

To contrast that with America, which has traditionally relied upon the "consent of the governed", there is no need for brute force to keep the government in power. At least in theory. If it were to be demonstrated that the government only exists by way of fraud, then they would have to resort to Soviet methods in order to keep themselves in power. If that becomes common knowledge, the pretense of "rule of law" and "democracy" will be seen as fraudulent too.

Soviet methods could mean mass terror campaigns. If there is enough of the political violence going forward, it may convince enough of the public that there is a problem. But not if there isn't enough people on the other side who can be convinced of the dangerous path we are going down.

Let's put it this way. Those on the conservative side are going to have to convince those who are ideologically opposed to join the resistance against the fraud.

The idea is to force those in power to resort to stronger and stronger repressive methods until it becomes clear even to the most zealous of their supporters that they don't want to take it any further.

As of this writing, an effort to derail the Pennsylvania audit is in the works. No honest government would feel the need to do this. If Biden won honestly, what would the audit show but that very fact?  If they wanted to cement their legitimacy, all they would have to do is let them audit and prove for them what they have claimed all along---that Biden won. But if Biden knows he didn't win, then he has something to worry about.

If enough Democrats can see that, then maybe something good can result from it. Otherwise, the country is doomed to being Sovietized. Even Democrats cannot want that. They can only deny that it is happening right under their noses. Enough of that kind of thing will only bring the day that it can no longer be denied, and then it will be too late.

Does the truth matter any more? Maybe we are about to find out.
