Fundraising for January 6th protesters being strongly discouraged.
It isn't enough for them to hold prisoners without bail, they are doing their best to totally destroy these people.
As Julie Kelly noted, most of these people don't have money. A criminal charge brought against them leaves them little choice but to take what's available. Unfortunately for them, the only thing that they can get is a public defender, who is on the government payroll.
So, the obvious thing is to ask for some outside help. It looks as if this has been totally squelched as well. Aside from this Newsweek article, there doesn't appear to be much information available out there. Out of sight, out of mind. Nobody hears about them, nobody seems to care. But would that be the case if lots more people heard about it?
These people are being held in defiance of the law. It is a lot easier for the government to do these kinds of things if nobody knows about it.
This is also intimidating thing, because if you report it, somebody could have you cancelled as well.
Maybe that is why nobody on the conservative side, save a few, are saying much about this.
You'd think we could all agree as Americans that these people have rights. That means all of their rights. Even if they are guilty as sin, they still have rights. If the government can squash them, they can squash anybody, anywhere, anytime. Think about it.
