Alternate universes--- liberalism versus conservatism.

As Bongino said on his show, liberals "walk around the enchanted forest of stupidity". How? Because they believe what liberals say without any critical examination of their own. Why not? They cannot or will not do any research.

Maybe they won't do any research. I used to believe a lot of what passes as liberal orthodoxy. I didn't do any critical examination of things like global warming. That's a least a partial explanation of how so many people fall for liberal bravo sierra. People may be too busy, or just too lazy to look things up on their own. I did it. It seems probable to me that many other people do it too.

The bravo sierra of liberalism filters through the population and can cause ill effects.

One effect is to change the language. Limbaugh used to talk about that. Bongino didn't mention the word "gay", but that is another example as well. It is not a new observation. The effort to make homosexuality more palatable to a population that wasn't at all comfortable with it caused a change in the language. That is a principle worth mentioning. It is a type of cultural engineering.

Bongino calls it the "weaponization of language". A current example is how the phrase "court packing" got changed to mean what the liberals want it to mean. It used to mean when FDR tried to add new justices to the Supreme Court, but now means just nominating Justice Barret to the court. See how that works?

The alternate universes means we cannot talk to each other anymore. Words mean different things to conservatives and liberals. It will have grave consequences for our future if we cannot agree on what words mean.

The stupid people in the forest are a danger to themselves and the rest of us. We all need to smarten up.
