Oh, boy was that fun. /sarc It's not that I don't know how to change a tire. I used to work in a tire store. Nope, not that. It's that I'm so out of shape that to actually do something anymore like this is really tough.
But I did it. One of these days, I may have to do it on the road. I've done that too, but this was a bitch. Even more than it ever was.
I suppose I could have called for help, but that is too wimpy.
Next time, I just might.
Update:
Ran down to the tire store and got it fixed and put it back on. Handled! Now, for what I was going to do this weekend.................

Obligatory, 9/19/15
Guess I missed the GOP debate. Googled it up and watched the first part. No need to go past the first question! Trump kicked ass.
Look, you may not like Trump, but attacking him only makes him stronger. Ignoring him doesn't work either, because I don't think he is going away. This is good because he will not be overwhelmed and he will have to be engaged. Since he is talented enough to make billions of dollars, maybe that will translate into results for the nation. If not, it will become obvious enough that then he can be truthfully said to have been beaten. But right now, the dude looks unstoppable.
If the GOP establishment wants to beat Trump, they have to raise their game several notches.

Home again, 9/18/15
Today, I pulled out the trusty hand held GPS. There are many, many locations on the property that I've marked. Yet, I don't know the boundaries. There's one more pin to find, and it may well be the hardest one to find out there. Using the locations that I already know, I am extrapolating to a point that I think will be the last boundary pin to find.
Gave me something to do during the slow periods, which weren't many. The week was rather busy. If it were not busy, then something would definitely be wrong.
I've got an idea for building, but I don't want to expound upon it yet. Leave that for manana, senor. It will include ( maybe ) filling up bottles and using it for insulation filler. ( that may be a dumb idea ) Bottles may be too big. Have to measure and see.
Seems like I'm getting the itch to go out there again.

Obligatory, 9/18/15
Why use the term "obligatory"? I resolved to write every day if I can. If the only thing I have to write is but a few sentences, then I will post that. It is obligatory if the blog is to keep going. Otherwise, it will stop, because the habit will cease. I want to keep the habit of writing, you see.
It's been a busy week. That's good because it will assure a bigger check than otherwise. It may be bad in terms of this blog because I cannot write as much.
Things are not perfect, but whatever is? I'm content that things are going about as well as one can expect, all things considered. No, I'm not talking about the BIG PICTURE. That is not good, but this isn't about that. It's about my own little part of the world. It's not much, but I like it.

Jimi Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower
Just admiring the guitar work.
He may have flubbed the lyrics a bit, though.
Back home, but not along the watchtower. Just in the same old place.

Quick post before I go, 9/17/15
Yeah. I lose a lot of material that I could post about. The day's activities see to that. So much to do, so little time. If you find this annoying reading about my complaints, just remember this: I had a donate button up for a very long time. Nobody donated ( except my brother, who I won't count ).
If I didn't have to work, I could write more. It might be better if I worked shorter hours, but less money means financial troubles. I'm sort of caught in a dilemma, there.
A few things I'd like to expound upon, but can't

A few things I'd like to expound upon, but can't
- I'm coming to a judgment about what ails us in this society. BTW, it may not be what you think.
- I'm still thinking of my move out west. I haven't given up. I won't give up.
- I haven't forgotten about high tech issues. There's just not enough time.
- The Heisenberg Principle and Blogging. A humorous observation. At least I think it may be funny.
- Possibly some old war stories.
- Ideas about how to improve the blog. Not that this would get anybody's attention.
Yeah, bitch, bitch, bitch. I really try not to complain at all. But my nature is to bitch. So, if you don't like it, don't get me started. Believe me, you haven't heard nothing yet.
The Beatles - Nowhere Man
Doing my Ed Sullivan impression: "And now, The Beatles!" I don't know if that is how he said it back then, but I remember it. It wasn't this song that was performed on the show, though. Nope. This song is saying something about nothing. Or nothing about something. Or what have you. Hey. What's it all about? Ask the Nowhere Man, man.
