Their mid-week update.
Pre-read and watch preview:
Well, things didn't go so peachy, now did it? So here's their video of the post-apocalyptic plan for trying ( yes, we can TRY) to put the pieces back together.
This isn't going to be painless. That's my opinion going into this video below. The comment will follow after I watch it.
Stopping it here @ 10 mins for a comment:
I am not counseling despair. I am not "shitting the bed" as Bongino might say. By the way, I'll check out Bongino's reaction later. Right now, I'm giving MY take.
My take after 10 minutes into this is that it is too damned slow and ponderous. They want to reason with people who have abandoned reason. I've been using reason on this friggin' blog for the last 15 years or more. What has that gotten us? Zilch.
Sorry about the profanity, but I am at my f-ing limit on patience. I've had up to my keister with trying to drill some sense into the senseless.
Ok, let's continue this. If they don't get serious soon, I'm going to cut this short.
Ok, I'm breaking in again at 12 minutes or so. She gets to the meat of it. OUR FAILURES. If you don't recognize what you did wrong, you will never learn from them. I brought that up with the Bushwackers in office, and contrasted Papa Bush with Shrub. Papa Bush admitted his mistake, but it was too late. Shrub doesn't admit any mistakes. Are we a bunch of Bushwackers? Or are we cold eyed realists who learn from mistakes and MAKE IMPROVEMENTS.
YES, absolutely Trump has a messaging problem. So did Paxton. Everything she says is correct, but the loss is already in the books and now we have to deal with the fallout. Now we can go on again.
That is with the video.
Well, I'm cutting this short at 15 minutes. It's over an hour and there's no time. That's the point. This post mortem is a day late and a dollar short. It's all good as far as that goes, but it is far, far, far too late to reason with people who have abandoned reason.
