Snowden 10 Years Later - Was His Sacrifice Wasted?

Things are getting worse. The aggressiveness of the spying is astounding The passivity of the public is alarming. Why grant the government this power?  Security vs privacy trade-offs?  Don't bet on it.  I am not going to.
