Where is the GOP

This is pretty tough. It may be hard for somebody conservative or Republican to read this. But as I listen to Bongino, I wonder why the hell is it that he doesn't focus his ire on the GOP?

It may well be that the commies are responsible for all of this covid hysteria, but where are the Republicans in pushing back against this? I realize that DeSantis is doing it. Maybe a bit more from Gov. Abbot. Sen. Paul is doing some good stuff. But, by and large, the GOP is very, very passive about this gathering tyranny. As a party, they don't stand as one against the fear-mongering coming from the commies.

Are we going to let the commies lock us down like they are doing in Australia?

Listening to Bongino makes me mad. Somebody could get a stroke listening to this crap. But where are our representatives? Why aren't they pushing back against this? I'd rather hear what THEY are doing to fight back against this.

The lockdowns seem to discriminate only against the white folks, in case you haven't noticed. The Southern border is wide open, but nobody is concerned about that, as Bongino notes. But nobody from Europe can come here by golly. No whiteys allowed.

This is infernal. But worst of all, those who we turn to for representation are failing us miserably. That's where we should be looking for redress. You aren't going to get it from the commies.

Logan's Run

If you are an oldtimer, you may remember this movie. It may be on cable or dish these days, but since I don't have these services, I can't say.

The thing that I'd like to mention here is that we may be living in a time in which people can be killed legally. The state already encourages abortion. People in New York made Cuomo into a hero for putting sick people in with old folks. This certainly didn't do the older folks any good, but it was for our "own good", or so they say. I don't trust these people. Know what I mean, Vern?

The same kind of ideas that the movie showcases is the same kinds of ideas that radical greenie weenies like. This could easily turn into a Logan's Run scenario. People will be killed off for the good of the rest. Maybe it won't go as far as Soylent Green, but who knows?

Soylent Green fed dead human flesh to people and called it food. Nobody knew they were eating other people. The authorities didn't want people to know what was going on. Seems a lot like a totalitarian regime trick. Maybe they'd have done it in the Soviet Union if it were still around. Don't laugh. They raided graveyards for flesh during the War. Sounds pretty sickening, but desperate people may do desperate things.

The kinds of things being done today in the name of public good could result in such scenarios happening in modern times. Don't be too sure that it couldn't.

There's evidence that the covid jab is something that may not be what it is hyped up into being. If it turns out to be a killer, it will be like Soylent Green or Logan's Run. Something that will kill you, but be billed as something for your own good. It doesn't foster trust to have censorship that will hide what it is really doing, and misrepresenting it as a public health necessity. Lies are a necessity for war-making. Are they waging war on the public?

A cold-blooded murderer isn't going to tip off what his true intentions are. You may want to defend yourself and stop him. Think about it.

Commies

The Babylon Bee is doing parody videos. This one is based upon John Lennon's so-called "peace anthem" called Imagine.

Everything about it is just exactly what you get with communism. Anybody who thinks that they offer a paradise try living in Cuba for a year. Or Venezuela for that matter.

The commies are teaching the kids to be commies. That's what CRT is. As if CRT wasn't enough, there's plenty more anti-American indoctrination for your kids and for the military. If they cannot get you to comply peacefully, there's always that option.. Joe Biden brags about his F-15's and nukes. If you think that is just Joe Biden, Swillwell said the same when he was trying to get the nod from the commies to run for President.

Why use the word commie? Because the way they are acting is just like the commies act. They can use whatever descriptors they wish, but never mind their words. Just watch what the DO.

Dr. Kelli Ward

It is posted on Conservative Treehouse, whose site is linked on the left sidebar, for those who may be interested in watching the video on that site.

I watched most of it, but it doesn't seem tough enough. Maybe there was something more to the point than I saw, like what to do about the certification of the electors for last November. If the Arizona Legislature doesn't respond to lawlessness, they will have ceded their authority to oversee the selection of electors, which is the power given to them by the US Constitution.

The Maricopa County officials, who are obstructing this audit, are assuming an authority that they do not have. It is not they who have the authority to audit themselves, as Kelli Ward mentions. Only the State Legislature can do that. There will be more court appearances, but in the meantime, Arizona does provide for some penalities for non-compliance with a lawful subpoena. Penalties don't seem all that tough, but it may be painful enough to get somebody's attention over there. Perhaps some jail time may be in order, but nobody has the nerve to do that, it seems.

If Nancy Pelosi and her crew can jail some protesters in DC, then why can't the Arizona authorities do the same? After all, this obstruction of the business of the legislature isn't lawful, and it may be considered seditious.

Does Maricopa County want to secede from the Union? Do they believe that the laws of the Union do not apply to them? Do they want to set up their own Confederacy?

Abraham Lincoln once paraphrased the Gospels when he said that a House Divided Cannot Stand. It will become all free or all slave, he said. Well, it does appear that history is repeating. There are those who don't want to follow the laws of the Union. That makes them rebels. This was an official act. It wasn't an act of a private citizen. Think long and hard about that one.

How to go forward

Over at American Mind, there's a piece about the Long March through the institutions. The commies only have two left, and those are in trouble. Those two are the military and the police.

How do they do it? How does the left continue to succeed with their long march?

I didn't link to the article. Somebody on Free Republic opined that the same thing has been discussed since the beginning, which goes back more than 2 decades now. The discussion might well have begun long before that.

Somehow the GOP splits and the Democrats do not. Dems win with divide-and-conquer while they remain united. I think that's the way in a nutshell. Look at Congress. They have the barest of majorities, but the GOP cannot stop them because of Liz Cheney types. There will always be Liz Cheney types because the GOP doesn't screen them out. Somebody who crosses the line in the Democrat party doesn't last too long afterwards.

The GOP doesn't act like a party, and there is a faction that assures that it won't. Until that faction is marginalized permanently, there won't be any chance that the GOP can act as an opposition party. At best, it can only slow down the communist juggernaut.

Liz Cheney and Lisa Murkowski should be in big trouble. So how do they manage to remain in office? Somehow the rules are made so that the votes get split up into many factions, and these two deadbeats will get the most votes. It's a scam. If there is to be any change, these two need to go. The only way is to unite against them and vote them out. No splitting the opposition. If the GOP can't or won't do this, it is only because they don't want to. That leaves the rank and file.

Will the rank and file unite? It isn't looking too good at the moment.

Samizdata came to mind today. When it did, I did a search on it and it is still there. Thank Goodness.

The rampant commercialism is choking off the best in the Western World. Heck, it is choking off the best in the human race. Some may think of that as being a "socialist" attitude.

The trouble with people is when they don't know what they are talking about. I got into an online argument with a dude once, who subsequently called me a "Stalinist". Un-freaking-believeable that anybody as anti-communist as me could be confused with somebody like that. People might've thought me a fascist too. People might call me a lot of things, but it says more about themselves than it does about me.

Anyway, I forgot about this site that has a history going back to before I knew anything about blogs. That would be close to twenty years. Many blogs have gone away. I kinda wish that the old days were still here. Blogs were an alternative to the rampant commercialism in the media. As a play against blogs, Social Media came into existence. We now see what that has given us. Right back where we were before is what they gave us. Only it is far, far worse.

Just for the record, I have nothing against somebody making a buck. What I have something against is the use of money for something other than an honest living. Once it gets to the point to where it can destroy good things that are trying to come into existence, then it is at an evil point. To that end, some type of resistance is called for.

As the pic shows, the name came from an underground publication network in the former Soviet Union. We may need something like that in the good 'ol USA. It is getting that bad.

Can you say "jabberwocky jockys"?

Look up the definition of "jabberwocky". It is a real word. Add "jocky" to it, and you get the Covid creeps who want jab a needle into everyone.

They come up with the dumbest "reasons" known to man. Btw, can you say it three times real fast?

These jockey might have the itch. But don't scratch it. It might get infected.

Whatever you do, don't let 'em talk you into the jab. It might be hazardous to your health.
