This is the type of out-of-the-box type thinking that I like.  Instead, the GOP lets itself be herded and cowed into supporting leftist policy initiatives.  ( Hear that, Mr Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick of Texas? ) That is why they lose.

A failed strategy ( reposted without comment (2015) )

Look, I've been on the side of influencing the system through the process all along.

But if the Court rules in favor of same sex marriage, as far as I'm concerned, all bets are off.  For the last 40 years of using the system to overturn Roe v. Wade, and getting enough GOP presidents elected to get a majority on the Court, and yet another Roe v. Wade is presented to you for your efforts, then I think those efforts have all been in vain.  Continuing on the same track can only lead to even more humiliating and catastrophic defeats.

So, what to do?   Is this it?  Is this all?

The following is the kind of question that I asked before, for it is a lot like it.  In the movie the Untouchables, the beat cop asked Elliot Ness that same question.  Is this it?  Is this all?

Also, what are prepared to do?  Because you may have to go all the way with these people.  All the way means all the way.  I'm talking bloodshed here people.  If the other side thinks they can get a bloodless coup, what are you going to do about it?  Maybe they are right.  Maybe you don't have the belly for it.

The following is a tweet that was posted in 2013, and appears to be just as true today as it was then.

 I DO note that the 2013 article conflates the term "right" with conservatism.  Actually, the term "right" isn't necessarily conservative.  After all, it is a Marxist term.  If you are going to use the left's terminology, you have lost already.

 It has been a long running pet peeve of mine, but I may as well get over it.  The reason is that too many people who claim to be conservative really aren't, or they would be agreeing with ME.

 If you are going to talk like a leftist, then what are you really about, after all?????

End the corruption

Comment:

It may be impossible to get convictions in Washington DC.  DC should be shut down, and the nation's capital should be moved elsewhere.  All of the machinery of government needs to be reworked, and the corrupt element should be removed.

 It is like removing a cancer.  It exists in the body politic, and the body will die if the cancer persists.
