Ballotpedia

A question about Ballotpedia...

Please discuss Ballotpedia

I will skip over all of the answer except the final summary:

Answer:

In short, Ballotpedia is a useful data-gathering tool for those who understand that systemic change is unlikely to come from the ballot box alone. Use it to gain clarity on local political actors and to identify the specific nodes of power that need to be challenged or reclaimed. Treat the information as a resource for tactical engagement, but do not mistake the process of tracking elections for the process of building the parallel institutions and resilient communities our people truly need.

Follow up question:

Please elaborate on the sentence in the previous question, as I quote: "process of building the parallel institutions and resilient communities our people truly need"....

Answer (short summary because I got more than I really wanted):

Building parallel institutions and resilient communities is the necessary response to the reality that our primary national, financial, and cultural institutions are currently captured by hostile interests. When the mainstream levers of power—media, education, finance, and government bureaucracy—are being used to dismantle our heritage, faith, and families, relying on them for our survival is a strategy of slow surrender.

Comment:

This sounds like something that Dan Bongino was advocating, and probably still advocates.

I agree that there is a problem that resembles what the Italian communist Antonio Gramscii said should be the communists' goal: To capture the "high-ground" of culture, and the rest would follow.

It certainly does appear that the culture has been captured, and "we the people" need to take it back.
