Casting about for something to write about. While doing so, I came across this song on the YouTube.
The song's lyrics reminded me of something, so I looked for some info about the song on the Wikipedia. What inspired the song doesn't match with what I was thinking of.
And what was that?
It was the Great Gatsy. If you aren't familiar with that novel and/or this song-- study them, and see for yourself if you agree.
The quick way would be to watch a remake of the film. But those may not be accurate enough. Perhaps the novel would be best, but if you aren't patient enough, watch the movie.
