All the evidence you need

of how the left is winning is in this quote, which is reference to global warming claims:

"In the end, if you win the frame war, your opponents back off and they start using your language," he said. "And then you've won."

It's the same with all of the "debates".  The left wins when there's nobody left to dispute their premises.

We lose when we play their game by their rules.  There's the proof right up above in that quote.

Limbaugh once talked about how the left has hijacked the language.  They have indeed, and that is how they hijacked public opinion and how they are winning.

And that is why when you refer to homosexuals as "gay", you eventually end up with same sex marriage.  Marriage stops being a sacred institution and becomes the left's latest trophy in the culture war.

The quote just told you how they do it.  The so-called right isn't even fighting, they are surrendering.

The irony is so thick, you can cut it with a knife.  There's a lot of tension here, but "Blondie" is so cool.  He can afford to be because he rigged the outcome in his own favor.  The viewer can feel the tension, but it is all for nothing.  Well, if you can't take a joke...

That name came up in the WaPo article I was just reading.  The same sex bunch are fairly confident of victory, but is that confidence justified?

I'm not so sure now.  For awhile there, I was a bit worried, and still am.  However, I'm hoping that good sense prevails, and the same sex marriage crowd will lose, and lose big time.

As I mentioned, the name came up, and of course it conjures up images of really bad human beings that hate other people who are just different.  But I went to their website, and they just seem to be a bit more clever than average in using the phrase "God hates Fags".

That phrase gets attention you see.  After all, I googled it myself.  I checked them out, and no, they aren't a bunch of mindless "haters".  They cite the reasons for what they believe.  You may not agree, but you can't say that what they say is without reason.

But it is unfortunate that such phrasing is necessary in order to get attention.

The supporters of same sex marriage have no arguments.  None.  Zero.  Zilch.  Nope.  If the primary thing that they can cite is that "animals do it", meaning same sex acts, then they must lose.  Do animals get married?  Do they believe in God?  Or are they atheist?  To cite what animals do is a rather poor justification.  It shows the rather poorly developed mental state that these people have fallen into.  Have we really sunk to the level of animals as a way to organize a civilized life?  It is oxymoronic.  Animals live in a state of nature, which is amoral.  Is that the way we should be?

Appalling, just apalling

The op-ed piece in the New York Times, that is.

It isn't so much that the left is probably going to win this one ( same sex marriage ), is that she points out how much trouble we are really in on issues like this.

She quotes George Will as calling Huckabee "Apostle Mike".  This is just sad, sad, sad.  When someone who is considered "conservative" has all but swallowed down the Cultural Marxist Kool-Aid, the game is just about over.

Of course, you cannot expect much from Lindsey Graham.  He is ready to move on, but for the moment, he's going through the motions.  I suppose we are supposed to be impressed with his valiant struggle.  How brave he is!  /sarc

She claims that 61 percent of young Republicans favor same sex marriage.  If my head shaked any harder, it would fall off.  This has to be wrong, but if it is right, we are in the deepest possible doo-doo.

Here's a problem I have with it, or just one of many.  For almost the beginning of Western Civilization, marriage has been between a man and a woman.  It has never been otherwise, until now.  Why the change?  I'm sure that Moses didn't bring down the Ten Commandments from the mountain, with one of them being, "Thou shalt not commit adultery", with same sex couples in mind.  In an earlier time, the expression of an idea like this would have been considered obscene.  Maybe our entire culture is becoming one huge obscenity by an earlier standard.  I guess the Ten Commandments are out of date.  Perhaps the Supreme Court can rule on that one too.  They are always right, you know.

Not quickie.  My mood is somber these days.

Anyway, I was thinking about JP Aerospace.  Hate to say this, but I don't think he'll ever get to space.  But what he is doing is good because it is science, not the pretend science, but the real science.  What he might do someday is to prove the feasibility of using an airship to get to orbit.  The reason I think he doesn't make it is because of money.

Money rules the world.  The world doesn't want truth, which is what he may be able to discover.  Money is being worshiped like an idol, and it is a false idol.

If money wasn't the object, and science was, he would make it. But since money is an idol, and therefore the object to which everyone seems to strive, he won't make it, even if he proves feasibility beyond all doubt.

People are false these days.  Truth will be suppressed at all costs.  Look what happened to the molten salt reactor.

Not only that, but look what is happening to coal.

All fossil fuels are better than so-called renewables.  The point isn't to clean up the environment, but to destroy the civilization.

I'll guarantee you that clean tech to clean up fossil fuels would be cleaner and cheaper than either wind or solar.  But cleaning up the environment is not what this is about.

These people are liars.  Always have been, always will be.  They are protecting someone or something and the truth of That One must also be suppressed.
