Russia is going to retaliate. What would anyone expect? Anything else may be seen as weakness. Here's a thought I had recently. The only way this ends is for one of these leaders to die. Putin isn't going to give up, because if he does, he is conceding defeat. Only victory is possible for him to survive. Anything less will be catastrophe for him. I'm thinking that Zelensky cannot leave office, because as soon as he does, he will be taken out. Zelensky is a dead man. Perhaps it would've been better if Trump had not gotten involved.

Somewhere on the web, which isn't being linked here, there was a mention that this tactic isn't new. There is a possibility, in the case of a major war, that there may be plenty of these nasty tricks lurking out there ready to be put into service. You could see some serious weapons being put into these containers.

 

As soon as that happens, international trade is finished until the duration, and maybe for good.

 

For how can anybody trust these things anymore when they could be full of weapons? Every shipping container will have to be vouched for. Shipping will be reduced to a standstill. International trade depends upon these things.

It means that Russia can't defend themselves against it. I'm a bit surprised about that, to tell you the truth. These things wouldn't be that hard to shoot down. A shotgun blast could take one out.

This will be a big upgrade

 

My travels took me to Corpus Christi on a regular basis. But I'm retired now. I was unaware of this project, but as I review it, I think it is a big upgrade on access to the city. There will be an interstate all the way to Corpus Christi from Houston that didn't exist before. Quite a difference.

The bridge is just across the way from downtown Corpus. From Houston, you'd cross over and be in downtown Corpus almost as soon as you cross the bridge.

There's this sense of frustration building up. Even though Trump won an undisputed victory, got a trifecta with control of Congress, there doesn't appear to be an end to the nonsense coming from the left. With respect to SpaceX and the FAA, I pretty much expected a mishap investigation. The question is how much of a delay will there be? I thought these delays were going to be addressed, but are they really? The ninth flight came nearly 3 months after the eighth. There's talk about the next flight in the middle of the month, yet they aren't really that close to another launch. If flight 10 comes before the end of the month, count me surprised.
