"Don't call my bluff"?

Comment:

The article describes a bit of dialogue in which the President was alleged to say what I am questioning in the title.

Of course you call a bluff, if you think someone is bluffing.  Saying that you are bluffing is an invitation to call it, for crying out loud.  In other words, "don't call my bluff" is admitting that you are bluffing.  So, of course you call it.

Unless you like to lose without a fight.  Come to think of it, that describes the GOP perfectly.
