What do you want?

Do you want victory over the Democrats? If so, be of good cheer for it is guaranteed. That is, it is guaranteed if you want victory.

Say again? What I'm saying is that Trump's victory is guaranteed if the GOP wants it. My assertion here is that they may say that they do, but their actions speak more loudly than their words. Their actions say they don't want victory. They want an out. They want to say words that may convince others of their desires for a victory, but their actions don't agree with their words. For if winning actions were taken, victory would be 100% certain.

Why so confident? Because the GOP controls enough state legislatures to guarantee a victory in the electoral college. That is where it counts. If they would make up their minds to win this thing, victory is certain. The Democrats couldn't do a damned thing about it. We could get back to normal if they wanted normal. They want things to be in chaos. They want the Dems to win so we can get back to normal. Normal for them means a pretend opposition to the Democrats.

That's putting it in a nutshell. Everything that we have witnessed over the past 4 years since Trump won has been aided and abetted by the GOP. The Democrats could not have done a thing without the GOP permitting it.

The Mueller investigation could have been stopped before it even started. The GOP allowed it. They allowed it for over three years. Everything else, the impeachment, the Wuhan virus scaremongering, and the riots, all have been aided and abetted by the GOP. The Democrats know this and are taking advantage. They Democrats want to win. They are playing for all the marbles. The GOP? They sit on their hands and cry and moan and do nothing. They want to say that they supported Trump and wanted to win, but their actions say otherwise.

So what does the GOP want? Victory? Or defeat while appearing to want victory?

It should be obvious what they want. But what do YOU want?

Just goes to show you how far the madness has gone. Officials show up like Nazi SS to force these people into house arrest because they refused to sign a paper confining them at home. They weren't sick, dammit.

If they have no symptoms, they are not sick. If they are not sick, what is the damned problem?

Don't tell me Typhoid Mary horseshit. Few people die from this, and those who do die have pre-existing conditions which might as well have been the real cause of death.

Yet Dick Morris thinks this is a winning issue for Democrats. If he is right, then we are done for.

The crisis that wasn't

Just heard something incredible this morning. Some lessons to be learned from that is to stop paying attention to the news. The news is unreliable. Instead, follow what your friends and neighbors experience first-hand.

The fact is, anybody can say anything. But the people closest to you can't lie and get away with it so easily. The reason is that if somebody claims that they got COVID-19 and didn't, and this person was a friend, neighbor, or family member, you'd be able to discern the lie pretty easily.

We trust the news because in years past, maybe many years past, it was considered reliable. I'm here to tell you that it isn't.

Okay, what I heard was that there weren't any new cases in this county. They were listed as "new" because they "believe" that this many people should have come into contact with those who did have the virus. Got that? No actual cases. Nobody showed up at a doctor's office sick. They just assume that these people got it, and those will now be considered "cases".

They are making up stuff out of thin air.

Get away from the TV and just ask friends, neighbors, and family if they are okay. Check through the "grapevine" and see if there really is a "crisis" out there.

My guess is that there is no health care crisis, nor was there ever one.

Seems to be a bit harder to find info these days.  What do you suppose the reason is for that?  Huh???

Awhile back, Sessions seemed to be leading big time against Tuberville, but he's still kicking.

The loss of a conservative seat in Alabama was a big loss.  Not everybody is sold on Tuberville, but Sessions was a real dud as AG.

Sessions did not have to recuse.  Rosenstein was his choice as Deputy AG, and Rosenstein hired Mueller.  If I was in Alabama, that would be enough for me.

There is ZERO benefit to anyone other than Democrats for the overwhelming hype surrounding COVID-19. It is not coincidental that all corporate media are all-in to facilitate the demanded fear that Democrats need in order to achieve their objectives. Thus there is an alignment of all big government institutions and multinationals to support the same.

Why? HIT, or Herd Immunity.

Government is not the solution, it is the problem.

Ronald Reagan once said something like that.

When Reagan took over as POTUS, the country was going through what was called an "energy crisis".  There were folks back then who didn't believe in this crisis.  There were those who did.  I was on the side of those who did if you can believe that.

Well, I didn't vote for Reagan in either 1980 or 1984.  But he was right about the miscalled energy crisis.  If Reagan didn't deregulate the oil industry, the government might have taken it over.  I know there was talk about that back then.  If not a takeover, then a humongous regulatory scheme from hell.  If you look now, the energy crisis seems to be gone.

There was also a 55 mph speed limit that took over 20 years to get rid of.  The whole idea behind the speed limit was to save gas.  It didn't work too well.  Besides, there was a lot of civil disobedience with respect to that limit.  A small industry was created in how to evade the limit.  Finally, sanity returned and both of these relics from the 70's were done away with.

But the left keeps on coming back with their silly ideas.

If you want to make comparisons between now and then, there really isn't anything different.  This time the government is trying to take over EVERYTHING.  With this phony crisis, they will end up destroying private enterprise, and we will be told that socialism is the only way to restore the economy.

But it is the government that is destroying the economy.  

It is doing it ostensibly because of a health care issue, but that is just as phony as the energy crisis of the bygone era just mentioned.  There is no crisis except that the government is getting way too involved in everyone's lives, and we would all be a lot better off if they would do what the "Bandit" did in the movie Smokey and the Bandit.

The movie was really about the civil disobedience to the nutty ideas related to an energy crisis.  People back then used their CB radios to avoid the "smokies" who enforced the speed limit.

What the bandit did was ask Sheriff Buford T. Justice of Texas if the letters F.O. had any meaning for him.

The government just needs to get this message.  But somebody has to deliver it.
