It made absolutely no sense whatever to have a riot or an "insurrection". The riot gave Nancy Pelosi the excuse to declare an emergency, and thus ended all challenges. This was a factor in the Supreme Court's refusal to hear the case. Even if Trump lost the challenges, a case filing would then have legal standing. No standing was possible after the riot and the "emergency". Read the last post by CTH for a full discussion of the scheme to put Joe Biden in the White House.
