Simmering down?
The Times article is cited on a PJ Media, by the way. There are those who are suspcious of some of these people, or more than some of these people connected with Instapundit.
It's the New York Times, for cripe's sake. That's a partisan rag of partisan rags.
There's plenty of good posts out there that are increasing the doubts about this. This is no time to "simmer down". Who was the Times citing? I tried to read the Times article, but I won't sign up for their partisan rag. So I didn't read it. A bit of speculation here: It must be one of those "good Republicans" that is being cited by the partisan rag called the Times. That is, the good ones that Biden was talking about. The ones that won't fight back. EVER. It doesn't take much to simmer those people down. One wonders if they ever get mad about anything.
Over the course of time, the emotions will probably "simmer down". But what if this results in an indictment???? Is that going to cause things to "simmer down"? If a DC grand jury indicts, Trump is going to go before a partisan hack jury from a district that votes 90% Democrat. He won't get a fair trial. As for this raid, it wasn't up to snuff, either. "Simmering down" is definitely NOT the ticket.
But I can see the "good" Republicans rolling over like they always do. If anything, they should be uniting as one, because if they don't, nobody is going to vote for them. There'd be little point.
Update:
If this is true, whoa Nelly!
Comment:
The term "bombshell" is often used. This isn't a bombshell, it is Tsar Bomba! The mother of all bombs.
Basically what they're saying here is that they've got the crew that tried to get Trump all these years. They have got them dead to rights. The only thing protecting them is the power of the government.
That's the problem. If the power of the government is this corrupt, there is no way in hell that they are going to let that come to light. That's what makes it Tsar Bomba. It's going to blow it all to smithereens and back to yo' grandma; including cats, dogs, elephants, spiders, ants, and bedbugs.
