If you don't make the argument, you lose the argument by default

And don't forget Tulsi Gabbard being flagged for being some sort of "threat" too.  The administration also denied RFK, Jr. Secret Service protection, etc. etc.

Democrats ought to think twice about their indifference towards their opponents security. There is the day after, you know. Retaliation against their opponents over petty matters doesn't help their "democracy" narrative.

With respect to the Press Secretary's remarks about criticism being "dangerous", it seems that our side may be dropping the ball.

If you don't mention that the administration is doing their speaking under the color of authority, you're failing to make an important point.

The color of authority adds more potency to words. If the color of authority says someone is dangerous, it might be seen as an okay to do harm to the one posing the danger.

The administration has been very irresponsible in their use of language.

Sure, they are gaslighting about it, but the bigger arguments are being missed. They are doing this under the color of authority, and it is actually contrary to the law.

Congress shall make no law respecting the right of people to redress their grievances. This is especially true of the governing class. That is why it is in the friggin' law! The Press Secretary is way the hell out of line. But that is nothing new, they've been out of line the whole time.

They are attempting to suppress criticism of themselves by labelling it "dangerous". The Constitution does not give them the authority to silence dissent. Period. In fact, it expressly FORBIDS it.
