"Give you something to fix""

Limbaugh featured this scene on his TV back in 92 or 93. He opined that the liberals think this way about conservatives.

It struck me as the same thing that they are trying to say about the people who went to DC to protest the 2020 election on Jan 6th. There may have been hundreds of thousands of people there that day who were peacefully protesting. They were harmless.

But the lunatics in DC are trying to portray those people in the same way that the character in this film is like. The character in this film cracks up, and goes on a rampage all through the town. He leaves behind some dead bodies and a lot of destruction before a retiring cop shoots him at the end.

But it doesn't do a whole lot of good to argue a point with somebody who refuses to listen. In the end, you could get a whole lot of normal people who could snap in an instant the way that this guy did.

That is what you call an argument for free speech. Allow people to express their grievances, or you will end up with the monster type personality in this movie. Only it may be repeated who knows how many times in a society being driven to madness.

The people that came to DC on Jan. 6th weren't like this character in the movie. Even this character played by Michael Douglas, wasn't evil per se. He did some questionable things, but he wasn't evil. But the people who went to DC were by and large good people. There may have been some questionable things, but there were questionable things all around.

A commission won't find what really happened and why. That's the last thing they want. No, a commission will only confirm them in their lies. The real purpose is to get people to disarm and to shut up. They don't want any dissent at all. That includes the GOP who continues to assist the Democrats in their attempts to silence all opposition.
