A bit of a "Jaws" reference, there. This propaganda difficulty is so big that it is going to take a "bigger boat". The "shark" is way, way too big. It might as well be Captain Ahab fighting the great white whale.
By the way, the movie "Moby Dick", which stars Gregory Peck as Ahab, is available on Amazon Prime.
All the movie references aside, when you've got people who supposedly are on the side of freedom, and these people refer themselves as being on the political right, you've got a shark that is just way too big. It is almost as diabolical as that great white shark that bit off Ahab's leg. It drove Ahab insane with vengeance, as he was "tasked" with the mission to bag the beast. But the whale got him instead. Yeah, and another movie reference comes to mind, but never mind that.
Looking at the Gospel of John, there may be a "bigger boat". Unfortunately, we may be more like Quint in Jaws, or Ahab in Moby Dick, and refuse the help. Divine power is necessary here. We can't think way out of this one, it seems. (another movie!) See John 6:63 for why the bigger boat is needed. ( yep, another movie)
Believe it or not, this post isn't about movies. It is a real thing. There is one more primary today in New Hampshire. The "far right" candidate seems to be ahead. If I said it once, I've said it a hundred times on this here blog---the reference to oneself as being on the right is an avenue for attack by the opposition. All they have to do is make the accusation of being "extreme", or "far right", and suddenly you're a fascist. Yet, commentators who should be talking about freedom, are referring themselves as being on the right. Don't blame Brandon for using the semi-fascist angle. You are doing it to yourselves.
It is a Kobayahi Maru scenario. ( can't win scenario, another movie reference)
We really are going to need a bigger boat.
