Cranial-rectal inversion

 

There is a certain amount of vularity in the culture now. It was not always so. Back in the sixties, the censors would bleep out bad words. But it could be circumvented sometimes, with the use of clever words that say the same things without cussing. An example is in the title of this post. It drew a chuckle from yours truly, and inspired the title. You really can raise your level of discourse if you really wanted to. Or go back down into the gutter.

Brandon's Rasmussen numbers are holding up pretty well. This is somewhat puzzling. One would think that after that infernal speech recently that people would wake the "infernal regions" up. Then the realization struck that these people ( at least some of them) have got that cranial-rectal inversion thing going.

People who gave Brandon a good approval rating for THAT speech are way the "infernal regions" out of line. If doesn't make good sense to accuse a good portion of the population of being traitors. That's because if you are serious about that, it can only embolden Brandon to get even more aggressive. That is precisely what is wrong with everything that has been going on in the country for far too long. It's okay to disagree. It is not okay to demand fealty to some faction personally, because our government expressly forbids this. Nobody owes the Democrats, or their willing accomplices in the GOP, any personal loyalty. That's what the term "rule of law" means. It is not meant to be used as a "glittering generality", or magic word, which will silence all opposition. There is a "loyal opposition." There can be no loyal opposition in a totalitarian regime.

The question should be put to these people: Do you really want a Civil War? Because if there is one, you can be assured that it won't be a pleasant walk in the park. A real Civil War these days may make the first one look like a walk in the park.

When certain Democrat politicians, like Brandon, start talking the way he does, the actions could start getting severe. You'll never know where these things end up.

There is news out there that these latest moves of Brandon are acts of desperation. ( my take, by the way) He is close to being cornered. This could be the explanation for the language and the aggression.

It is an attempt to intimidate his opposition. Opposition isn't treason. Opposition is a RIGHT. Brandon and his followers are out of line. It is a rectal-cranial inversion on an epic scale.
