A Gigantic and Mysterious Feature that Nobody has Heard of!

Many lessons can be learned from studying the Gulf of Mexico. It tells us the history of this planet. Or some of it, because of the ever changing face of the Earth, its entire history cannot be fathomed.

If mountains can be worn down to nothing, so can our civilization. We are like grains of sand on a vast beach. In time, even that sand will be obliterated. Nothing can resist the march of time.

(I'm feeling a bit expansive today, am I not?) Or what is it? Humility?
