It would be easy to be overwhelmed here... But knowing no better, I am wondering if it were possible to park any number of large space stations in such an orbit. They could stay in this orbit until it is time for them to depart. You could accumulate a large number of passengers for their trip to Mars, and send them onward when it is time.
Just a thought. What could go wrong. Probably a lot, but it seems like an interesting idea at the moment.
