Don't know exactly why. This thread didn't seem interesting until I started reading through the comments. It is then that I found this gem (below):

Does this mean that they really aren't as stupid as they look? It takes at least some intelligence to know what is stupid, and then to act that way. But some people do it naturally. When I saw that link, I went over to it, and I got this reaction that Charlie Brown had in a conversation with Lucy:
