Ohr was perfectly positioned to advance the Russian collusion narrative. But he also concealed some important information that would have raised some eyebrows. If that deception had become known in time ( before the FISA warrant) , it may have jeopardized the enterprise.
Once again, all these people seem to know each other. The conspiracy was in their "small group".
Ohr knew McCabe. Lisa Page once worked for Ohr. Ohr's wife worked for Fusion GPS. It all forms a long chain made of personal links from one to person to another.
Cody Shearer knew the Clintons. Shearer gives dossier to Winer, who also knows the Clintons. Winer gives it to Steele, his friend. Winer helps Steele with connections here in the US. Steele knows Kavalec from Moscow. All these connections moved the narrative along.
