If you cannot bedazzle them with your brilliance...

Tucker Carlson out at Fox

Two things here: 1) I've never been a Fox watcher. The idea that they are "conservative" is a bit humorous to me. Fox started out as saying that they were presenting both sides. The entire appeal of Fox was as alternative to the ultra liberal media complex. But that doesn't make them "conservative"; and 2) I'm not particularly enamored of Tucker Carlson either.

So, you combine that with Fox caving in on the Dominion lawsuit, and it seems like a victory for the left. That would be true if Fox was conservative. But they are not. They have some folks on there who appear to be conservative. But that doesn't make them conservative per se. They just aren't overtly hostile to conservatism. So when it was time to go belly up when the left makes noises, then Fox goes belly up. Typical RINO stuff. Don't get sucked in, I say. Fox going belly up would make any conservative nervous, I'd say.   If you were connected to them, you'd want to get away .

What Fox's capitulation to the left without even a fight says is that they won't have your back in a fight. So why go into a fight when the guy on your side is going to run when the tough time comes? Fox won't fight. It's all to get you into their little game, but it's all smoke and mirrors. There's nothing behind the smoke and mirrors. If there was anything behind the smoke and mirrors, Fox would fight Dominion all the way. But like all RINOS, they take a dive at the most critical time.

I won't speculate about Tucker Carlson. I did watch his segment about the January 6th riot. Note that we haven't heard much about it since. Fox went belly up on that one too.

Just one thing about it. If I wanted to preserve my conservative creds, I wouldn't count on Fox. Fox has an odor about it now. Maybe a rotting carcass type of odor. If you don't want the smell to get on you, then maybe it is a good time to leave, eh?

The political vultures on the left are circling the dead carcass that is Fox. Unless something happens that can breathe new life into that outlet, they may be done. The left will have that carcass picked clean in no time. That's what happens when you cave in like Fox does, and as the RINOS always do. When you play dead, you're going to be dead for sure.

Just saying that Fox made a critical error somewhere down the line, and the ship has struck the iceberg.

...then baffle them with your bullshit.

Fox News has settled the Dominion lawsuit against them. I'm not familiar with the lawsuit, but the accusation was that Dominion rigged the vote count in favor of Biden. Dominion may have sued Fox for defamation, and now Fox has settled. This will be spun as a defeat for the so-called "election deniers". That's because Dominion was claiming that Fox defamed them. That supposedly proves that the election was honest. Ha ha.

I just don't bother with the news anymore, and it's getting so bad that the so-called conservative side of the webs are getting ridiculously dishonest as well. So, my suspicion is that the settlement means nothing with regards to the truth of the matter with regards to the election controversy. All this settlement does is to keep the truth hidden from the public. I don't particularly give a shit about Fox News at this point.

In other words, Fox News is just part of the Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum pretense of opposition. The court system was designed to be adversarial. Both parties have agreed to bypass that since neither are really in disagreement with the other. By the way, Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum were characters in the Alice in Wonderland fairy tale. Sadly, we are living in Wonderland for real. The GOP and the Democrats are one and the same. They pretend to be adversaries, but they are not. As far as I'm concerned, these two are in collusion with one another. Perhaps now, the Fox News Network has jumped the shark. It is a matter of whether or not the public believes the bullshit that just went down. Alice did eventually wake up. One wonders if the public ever will.

This is why the left v right model does not work. The left and the right can collude with one another to produce a conspiracy against the truth. That is what this is. It's right versus wrong, not right versus the left. For neither the political right nor the political left are opposites, but are together against the interests of the people. Anyone who pushes the socialist paradigm of right versus left is part of the conspiracy against the Republic and We the People.

People out there were hoping that discovery would yield the truth here. The settlement prevents the discovery from going forward. Fox doesn't want a trial and neither does Dominion. The truth is just too much for the people to endure, or so Fox claims.

What a crock.
