Colin Kaepernick

Earlier today there was this communication from the dude who claims that the Rittenhouse verdict was part of "white supremacy". He also said that they system needs to be overthrown. Why is such a statement not an incitement to violence and or sedition?

The truth is that the jury system works for everyone's benefit. It isn't racist because a white man went free while some folks thought he should have been punished. The jury system may not be perfect, because OJ Simpson went free after the murder trial in 1995.

Actually, a jury system is vital to restrain an oppressive government. Kaepernick ought to be more careful about what he wants. If a system is overthrown, how does he know that something worse may take its place?

From a conservative's viewpoint, the government is becoming quite oppressive. With all the lockdowns, masks, and mandatory jabs to mention only a few of these; it would seem that a jury system is one of the few things that we have left. To lose that could mean total government control over EVERYTHING. That might please the radicals in the government today, but it doesn't do anything good for the rest of us.

It might appeal to Kaepernick types, but when the government goes against YOU, and it WILL eventually, you might start to see why it isn't such a good idea to get rid of the jury system. As a matter of fact, a good many things that are being ignored today should be put BACK their high station in a free society. It seems like we have lost our freedom of speech. We have lost our right to do what we will with our own bodies, as well as our own land. Not to mention the UNLAWFUL holding of the January 6th protestors without a speedy trial, nor bail. There is also an unprecedented attempt to surveil people without probable cause-- "no unreasonable searches and seizures".

Our government is out of control. People like Kaepernick aren't helping to correct that.
