The title is kind of a joke, but maybe not. Perhaps one should not joke of such a serious matter. The thing is, if Biden becomes POTUS, the GOP is screwed.
Maybe it has always been that way, but it's especially so now. One might have hope that they can set things right, but let's face it, they let us down after 2016. Trump won, and the GOP won, but they might as well have lost the way they acted.
The fortunes of the country rest on a very weak shoulder, I am afraid. What about the other side?
Biden says the most curious things. Yet somehow, it is Trump who is suspect. Everyone knows that Biden is screwed up. Why doesn't it matter? Maybe it does, and it isn't showing in the polls. Well, you know, I don't believe these polls anyway. They've been trying to influence people in the elections with these polls for the longest time.
But for the sake of argument, what if Biden really is winning? Then what? What could we expect from a Democrat Administration? When asked, they won't say. You have to wait until he is in the White House before you find out what they'll do. Sounds a little familiar. We don't know if it is going to be really Biden who runs things. There are those who say he won't be, that he is just a dummy being pulled by the string pullers behind the scenes.
Some say we deserve exactly what we get. But would that be so if these people are really just no better than crooks? Do the people deserve to be defrauded? If you don't hold people accountable then the unavoidable conclusion is that too many people just don't care enough to do something about it.
If that is the case, then we are headed for a rough patch, I'd think. If the country was united against the corruption, there wouldn't be a chance for it to succeed.
The people seem a bit too trusting of the miscalled leadership class. Or if not trusting, then too fearful.
Why do you suppose in one of the more conservative areas of the country that so many people wear these masks, and believe that these masks actually do any good? There must be a submissive gene in the conservative gene pool. There should have been more resistance to this and the lockdowns. But conservatives are not that way. No matter how bad the policy, no matter how foolish the behavior, the conservatives just seem to fall into line. The other side is active, our side just reacts. The intiative is with these other guys.
There won't be any civil war if the Dems win. They'll just cave like they always do.
I'd love to be proven wrong. But the conservatives just don't appear to have any fight in them. If you want to resist, you are going to have to go underground. It may be a very lonely and scary place in the coming days.
